I know this probably sounds weird, but I only consider people in the red countries to be "Asian". I know Asia is a massive continent, but not every from the Asian continent should be called Asian in my opinion.For example, I would never call someone from Saudi Arabia Asian. Arabs, Persians, etc are a different thing. I would also not call people from the central Asia or South Asia Asian as well. Indians, Pakistanis, etc are their own thing.I only consider people from East and Southeast Asia to be "Asians" in the colloquial sense.
