we are living them
i used to work at place like this.it was a call centre mostly staffed by casual employees. the casuals were all uni students or people between jobs or whatever but you'd have like people studying medicine or former engineers or like lawyers or whatever just working a casual gig.but the full time workers (who then went on to become the managers) were the kinds of people who never get further in life than working in a call centre.so it was a situation where your entry level casual workforce was almost always smarter and more capable than the people managing them.

What's super funny is our CO is pushing AI on everyone so the leadership has been using copilot to draft basic emails and status updates. They come out full of hallucinations, emojis and emdashes. Looks like total trash. You talk to this guys and they really are clueless about the business around them. It's all fun and games while the real workers are grinding away. Not that is anything new but it's funny that the shop floor looks at the leadership in an even worse light now. Just clueless b**mers at the top thinking AI and virtual reality will solve everything.
