The whole aryan sentiment is very much r1a (slavs) thing, all ta mystical East religions like vedas and budism are a slav thing, well r1a thing. R1b was always into more worldy things like philosophy, orgabisation, war, production etc. R1a was spirit brother and r1b was worldly brother. Both have super powers in those fields. Except now slavs completely abandoned metwphysics and just do abraham told me so spirituality.

Anyway, idk what made them more succesful, Romans were the first big civilization in Europe and they sure weren't the typical "Aryan", my guess would be it was easier to develop while fighting off other european kingdoms rather than having to deal with mongols, turks, tatars etc. The east and the balkans are basically always at threat from Asiatic nomads.
