As an immigrant you can reap the benefits of being in a homogenous, stable, high trust and collectivist culture. But by definition you have to be an extreme minority there for it to work out. Europe is full of Europeans, and Europeans make European societies. China is full of Chinese, and Chinese makes Chinese societies. Long term you will find some aspects of the culture to be disagreeable to your European nature. If you feel it’s worth the trade off, that’s fine. But know that you can only make that trade off because you are an extreme minority.
