The whole time I’m just driving so recklessly man, coming off this one dirt road coming up to a stop sign and about to cross a main road during high travel hours. I’m just floored in this 91 Nissan at 8 AM on my way to school, I tell my friend to keep his eyes open and that I’m not stoppin. We fly right through it, straight across the main road and up the hill towards the mountain. I ask my friend if the guy also blew the stop sign. I get half way up the hill, pass a car on a double yellow line around the sketchiest blind turn in the area. I thought I was god damn Paul Walker Da Vinci when I pulled it off. Guy in the truck does the same thing right behind me, I was like damn this dude is crazy. I got pretty discouraged at that point, ya ever give her all she’s got and just know she ain’t got it. He ended up passin me like a mile down the road, im not goin to lie I kinda let him. Guy got out face red as can be, made some real threats towards me which I won’t repeat. I was white as a ghost, fumbling over the only word I could mutter “Sorry.” He said “You think you’re a tough guy screaming fuck you out the window? Well FUCK YOU” got in his truck that was sideways blocking both lanes of traffic and drove off. Never saw him again. But if I did I’d shake his hand.

>>524640582The whole time during the car chase I’m like one day of coming late to school away from flunking out of grade 11 and it was weighing heavy on my mind, my friend had just as many late and absent days but somehow I don’t think he was in the same predicament. Almost failed grade 11 and got my ass kicked that day, all because I wanted to be a little shit.
