Another thing to point out is that silver is now an industrial metal for electronics and such. In the past, not so much. The whole idea is that due to supply constraints, the paper and physical markets will decouple and the paper manipulators will get fucked.

if all things do really seek balance then silver will normalize around $350. historically it is 16:1 silver to gold and historically one ounce of gold is equivalent to one months wages for skilled labor in a leading economy. right now that is around $5,500. so gold will hit around there and silver around 350.

it already has gone up hundreds of % in a fairly short amount of time and that rise did not start until after inflation went through the roof. It is interesting, innit, that common necessities and pleb novelties all more than doubled in price since 2020 but commodities did not? Outside of faggot infested places that threw excessive taxes on it the price of oil rn is the same it fucking was in the early 2000's. Wood, and other commodities also corrected back down after the insanity ended. But, anything that actually factors into cost of living is still much higher. which necessitated wages to rise (although not as much as they should have). and just think what would happen if johnny pipefitter realized that the money hes spending on food that spoils would buy much more value if he bought a silver coin every week. Would that not put upward pressure on the price of silver relative to the johnny pipefitters wages?

The more industrial uses that are found that require silver, the more they need. Miners are not mining silver directly as it not profitable, due to the the futures market it manipulating the price down in order to make the currency strong. When there is not enough silver available to meet the past needs due to current needs, sourcing silver gets a lot more expensive, making the consumer products more expensive as a result. Particularly now that central banks and other institutions are hoarding silver, not just retail, as they are remonetizing gold & silver.

break even on silver is about $20/oz. At almost 4x that no miner is going to be hurting. Their issue is they don't like volatility because they aren't sure if it's going to sustain this price level.
Industrial can't really sustain this much higher without making their end product significantly more expensive - meaning this is just going to be a tax on everyone in the end. yay

Bitcoin does not have a twenty year history, so there is no stat for comparison. On March 15th 2009 bitcoin was $<.01. This year Bitcoin hit >$125,000 which is an increase of >12,500,000% in 14 years. However since that high in October, Bitcoin is currently sitting at $88,323 which is over a 40% fall in just three months. It really expresses the opportunity and risk of such a volatile asset.

What I find most suspicious about bitcoin is the halving process coinciding with US Presidential Elections. Every 210,000 blocks, or roughly every four years.

The halving process has virtually always lead to bull markets in bitcoin. 2016-2017, 2020 -2021, and now 2024-2025. Then whales take their takes, bitcoin shits the bed and it all starts over again.

Bitcoin bull markets suppress general commodity prices. This creates an ideal economic environment for elections. Bitcoin absorbs inflation through speculation of digital information. Inflation is then flushed down the Bitcoin bear market toilet. Waiting for the next FED inflation turd.

Also if Michael Saylor's business was forced to file chapter 11, by law all of the business assets would be sold off. Can you imagine the implication of his Bitcoin hoards suddenly becoming for sale all at once? I'm not sure what would happen exactly, but the outcome would likely be ferocious.

I don't think you realize how badly the Fed has been shorting silver to pump the dollar. It's insane, and it's been going on for decades. The point of the /setf/ threads a couple years ago was that if the COMEX vaults get drained by people buying *physical* silver, as opposed to "we totally promise we've got this and no you can't see" paper silver that gets shorted to hell, the kike dollar will shit the bed and can be replaced by real, metal-backed money.

>>524649009

More like a 186% premium. Yes, it's steep. But, any small fractional metal has steep premiums. It's meant to be spent/traded for goods and services. The price with premium also goes up when the metal goes up. How else are you going to get a normie to invest in gold with $8 in his pocket? It fills a need. I'm not saying that's all someone should invest in when it comes to precious metals. But, it has its place.

in order to purchase crypto you need to believe at least that the internet will be there forever, there's plenty of retards in the area, but they're of a different flavor
for the kind of schizo that wants to "end the fed", the only other alternatives are to sink the money into pallets of ammo and food really and those are terrible, because they lose a lot of value and thus aren't an investment vehicle at all
"schizo fiat" would probably the those people that get eminent domained stacks of cash during police stops. Gold silver or land
Gold is the easiest to hide and move and is accepted everywhere as money.
Land with good water soil and growing climate is good in a somewhat stable country ( probably US) when shtf.
Silver is been held down artificially by big banks spoofing , not only is it a hedge against inflation like gold or land , but it’s still going to at least double in the next year. It’s bulkier than gold though.

Yes, both manual and CNC. I love the interchange between the two, where productivity reaches unprecedented levels and you can go from goal to CAD to part in 1-2 days.
Drilling barrels is just a matter of patience and conservative speeds+feeds. Haven't done barrels but I've enough enough steam engine piston bores to be comfortable with the process.

Oh my god. You mean it's a trailing indicator to inflation. No fucking shit.
Both of those other times followed inflation bumps by a few years.
People probably don realize it because the media covered it up.
But under Obama inflation was nearly as bad as 2021-3.
The term shrinkflation was coined then when Campbell's soup went to 11.5oz.

Silver has been an industrial metal since electricity was discovered.

if you dont take away from that chart that it is time to sell silver and invest in stocks, you dont understand what you are looking at.

It tracks and trails inflation.
If anything this just shows how much the media lied to us about inflation caused by both the Obama and Biden administrations. It was much higher than the advertised rate.

It isn't just trailing inflation, the world is literally running out of silver and China is about to ban all exports.

How much silver comes from China?
I see this posted a lot and I'm just curious what kind of volume are we talking about?

The silver is like criminals in Escape from New York.

Once it goes in, it doesn't come out.

China mines 13-14% of global production each year, but they refine 60-70% per year.

I'm keeping all my coins for future barter when the world collapses, a one oz coin will probably buy a boat passage to New Zealand or half a coin to Tasmania.

I’m in a midsize city in a relatively poor state. People are here chugging along, buying new cars, houses, kids are fine, wearing nice clothes, every restaurant is packed, etc. I don’t think we are in a recession. I was 20 yrs old in 2008 and this ain’t shit bro.

Same. $60 is a clear buy-in, $40-50 is 'back the truck up' level
