However if a person were to set the establishment date for Canada at either the end of the French & Indian war where France lost its holdings in Quebec, or where the American 13 colonies formed their own country leaving the Maritimes, Upper & Lower Canada as British holdings, then that 250 year mark has been reached. A nation at its core is not a land, it is a people who inhabit that land, whose traits and qualities define what it is to be of that nation. The root word for both nation and natal is natio. Canada through bringing in a massive amount of foreigners who don’t share its values has more or less destroyed the social fabric of the nation, there is not going to be an easy way to resolve this issue, as too many of these trespassers are now citizens with voting rights. What will happen is the major parties are all going to have to run ethic voting bloc candidates if they wish to secure seats, especially in the riding rich urban areas of Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and to a lesser extent Calgary. The pandering to said ethnic groups will become the focus of all of the major parties as Canadians and their needs are more or less forgotten. I don’t have all of the answers for what old stock Canadians should do, one thing I think that would help is openly discussing these things with others, a lot of people are noticing. The other is if you live in a province that has a secessionist movement & get involved, the third is one I always stress, Canadians need to kit up while they still can. Disregard the prospect of future bans, buy an SKS, a crate or some spam cans of ammo, about 30 stripper clips(Czech made BXN ones) and a Chicom chest rig. Make certain that rifle has a cleaning kit and rod, a sling and ideally a flashlight.
