We are more aware of the health problems alcohol causes so we don't drink as much or don't drink at all. Some of us also don't drink because it's too expensive now. We also are more educated on mental health and are more accepting of therapy for personal issues. As a result, we don't need to drink anymore to cope with mental and emotional issues.
