If that arrest wasn’t legal or they release you due to your testimony or evidence then you have the right to sue for compensation. You cannot just decide for yourself whether or not an arrest is lawful, and you certainly can’t attempt to flee with an officer standing in front of your vehicle. Nothing else matters beyond these facts.
