What does intelligent design have to do with some Jewish carpenter or a tribal volcano god? Even if I accepted that life had to be intelligently designed, that doesn't get you even 1% of the way to proving Christianity. I don't know why Christians waste so much energy on this topic, it's like asserting that Abraham Lincoln built a specific house, and your primary evidence is "it couldn't have just built itself". There are literally hundreds of thousands of different religions throughout history and millions of gods and creation myths spoken of.
