Have you noticed there's a new form of sinister propaganda that has turned most normies into zombies, depriving them of the ability to notice patterns once more?

>video games are shit now compared to the past
>movies are shit
>books, food, music is equally shit
>time runs x3 faster

Tell this to a normie and you get a "you just grew older" propaganda thrown back at you. It doesn't matter that zoomers and alphas prefer retro games to the new shit. It doesn't matter than literally 5 year olds are telling their parents that December felt like 5 minutes..

It just doesn't matter to these golems. When you notice patterns they will always say "you just grew older"

I never quite understood that. Why is that? Why does time run out faster than it did before? It just doesn't make sense.

>games, music, food, books are shit now
Yup, and it will continue to go downhill if people don't notice the drop in quality soon enough or they continue to accept literal shit instead of striving to get something actually worth their time. When you look at the past you can notice creativity, people used to discern trash products from good ones and didn't let corporations push bullshit onto them, the internet wasn't a corporate driven hellhole. But hey, the present is so much better right? Why want to receive products of greater quality when you can be satiated with literal garbage like some kind of soulless bugman.

Art and culture in the west (and so the world) is dead. Everything is either a recycled idea, nostalgia bait, propaganda or filler content. Nothing means anything anymore and people are meant to focus on superficial materialist things like higher quality visuals or better sounding recording techniques but the humanity and creativity is devoid from the end product despite the artificial sheen. This leaving anything from literature to film and music to video games as meaningless time wasting slop.

That's what I thought too until I stumbled upon Kerbal Space Program and was immediately hooked. I guess I was just bored of playing the same game with a different womyn protagonist over and over again. The modern AAA slop is definitely shit.

This legit is fucking with me, I believe the typical NPC shit that "time feels faster as you get older" but like you said I think even young are noticing it. My schizo theory is that it's related to the Sun turning from orange colored to white and tied in with end times prophecy that 1/3 of the sun would be taken out

Time doesn't run faster, you are just expected to do 3X as much stuff so it seems like you get no time to rest. In the 90s most people didn't even really talk on the phone much and didn't have Internet.
>>
>>525750664
This, there are plenty of new games which are actually good, but they aren't the AAA corporate homoglobo slop which gets the massive advertising budgets. They're the games made by one or a handful of autists who have a new idea and execute on it.

>Why does time run out faster than it did before?
because you have less novel experiences. time passes slower for children because everything they encounter is new. as you get older, novel experiences are few and far between, and every day starts to blend together.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oddball_paradigm

>The perception of time seems to be modulated by our recent experiences. Humans typically overestimate the perceived duration of the initial event in a stream of identical events. Initial studies suggested that this oddball-induced "subjective time dilation" expanded the perceived duration of oddball stimuli by 30–50% but subsequent research has reported more modest expansion of around 10% or less, and the direction of the effect, whether the viewer perceives an increase or a decrease in duration, also seems to be dependent upon the stimulus used.[16] New evidence shows that this effect may be influenced by predictive coding and perceptual differences between the oddball and the standard stimuli. Predictive coding posits that the brain anticipates incoming sensory information based on previous experiences; deviations from these predictions, as introduced by oddballs, result in larger prediction errors, enhancing the perceived duration of the oddball.[17][18]

>Why does time run out faster than it did before?
the efficient elimination of boredom. boredom is when time perception kicks in and we have systems designed to prevent a single moment of boredom.
>>
>>525750207
I heard we perceive time logarithmically, when you were 10 every day was like 1/3650 of your life, if you're 20 it's 1/7500 or whatever. But that's just one part of it. Another is boring life. If you do something different every day, travel a lot, meet different people time will slow down. 3 months can feel like 3 years. But if you're stuck at the same job, every day meeting same people and hating every second of it years will feel like weeks. That's the hard truth
>>
>>525751940
Yeah, I don't get why people struggle with this. In your off-time when you normally consume media, simply consume old media that was made before everything that went to shit.

Any game made before 2010 is trivial to emulate on a modern gaming PC. Old movies and shows are often still present on the mainstream streaming services, and when they're not, just get a VPN and a torrent client. Old books are available as epubs all over the internet for free, and since they're old, might even be out of copyright and totally legal to download. You can easily spend an entire lifetime entertained by media made before whatever year you want to set as your cutoff, you just have to think about it for 2 fucking seconds and not just instantly consume any slop set before you.

You are right anon. The problem is that most normies are soulless drones to begin with no point arguing. What i want to tell you is the following, and i wont use anything profound to demonstrate my point, just one, regural, daily thing called "night lights". Most big western cities have litterally become insuferable to walk out at night. What was a very nice thing, which is, taking a walk with your palls (or alone) at night, hanging out etc (you being greek i presume you understand what i mean) in a park, or a school at night e.t.c, under the warm orange lights has now become a soulless bullshit with these strong fucking white lights that litterally blind you and fuck up your brain.

And yes, lighting is litterally the essence of aesthetics. This is what you see in movies, music, e.t.c: things have become soulless, just like the white lights. The whole world has become like an counter-easthetic minimalist hospital.

Before faggs argue about the lights: always remember you can put YELLOW WARM LEDS inside a glass so you dont litterally get fucking blinded every time you try looking at the sky. Always remember they are doing it in PORPUSE. The whole reason of being alive is aesthetics. Fuck up aesthetics, become a zombie.

Maybe if you only play faggot mass multiplayer games. Singleplayer gaming has only been getting better and more advanced especially simulation and strategy gaming. Hell we get a new genre defining roguelike game like every 2 months or so now. Gaming seems to actually be the only thing still improving.
>>
>>525749517
I mean, " you just got older" is easily debunked

Pre 2010, there was:
>no SBMM, EOMM, E.T.C. designed to psychologically abuse players through matchmaking manipulation. For example, professional LoL players could have a 90% winrate in solo que in 2012, as opposed to 70% in 2025. Or just check out all the patented concepts by Activision/infinity ward (skillbased bullet registration, skillbased connection, e.t.c.)

>no games as a service
>games were launched as finished product, no 30% done and rest of the game launched as a DLC
>games were designed to tell a story or a concept, instead of having a concept and shoving LGBTQ, niggers/women/trannies into it
>no ESG bucks to promote aforementioned groups
>gameplay over graphics

E.t.c., anyone saying otherwise is just a redditor/coper/underaged

It's true, yet it's probably more than just that.
I suspect internet is changing Humanity as a whole: it rewires our brain for a continuous and never ending flow/streams of data.
Absolutely irrelevant data for the most part, which makes things worst.
We were not meant for that, not in just a few generations of Humans.
It's changing our perception of many things, time included, probably.
And probably not for the best.

>thinking for yourself gives fertile women the ick
>>
>>525751205
I think it's caused by your brain being mostly disengaged in your older years. Like if you're spending most of your time working/preparing to work/travelling to work then your brain is just running in idle autopilot day after day, it isn't engaging with the world and being forced to analyze/interpret/problem solve etc. You can probably more vividly remember your time in school or playing a video game but trying to remember the time spent working in a job years ago there's nothing saved to memory.
>>
>>525751708
This is some horseshit somebody spouted, the same with "crystallized memory". This would imply you have a constant memory of all things that ever happened over thirty years compared to ten years but that's not how brain memory works. There's nothing to back up this theory t all.

PLAY IT YOU NIGGERS IT IS THE ONLY GAME IN THE LAST DECADE THAT HAS BEEN WORTH MY MONEY OUTSIDE OF RUST

The story was a fucking breath of fresh air drowning in a ocean of piss. Indie Polish team, absolutely ZERO niggers or other DEI bullshit and epic dark Arthurian lore reimagining.

Just take my fucking advice. The game is beyond excellent. If you could enjoy Skyrim, this is 1000% times better as far as the story goes. The ending could have been polished but for a indie dev studio it was fucking amazing.

And it's only going to get stranger as the economy goes into full meltdown, housing pops, food becomes less stable, more accidents, violence, homicides, suicides, and anger from society.
It's all culminating into a major event to take place in 2030s.
I am almost certain elements of the future are trying to stop this from happening but they can't stop it.

A great example is in observing how Israel waited a generation to start their regime changes in Syria and especially Iran while genociding Gaza and Lebanon.
Zoomers cannot know firsthand the millennial darkness of the Bush Cheney (((neocon War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Zios waited until millennials were dead, married or zombiefied through economic plundering to really push their Greater Israel Plan bullshit.

I think they also used Charlie Kirk's assassination and Covid to induce the traumatic freeze effect that millennials had with 9/11. Both in the backdrop of a barrage of shitty Star Wars movies signifying cultural decline and stagnation, but now fully captured by Zios. The big difference is that zoomers are more generally redpilled than millennials were then, with Alpha being too dazzled and addled by tech and atomization to understand what's been lost and ruined.

>>525750651
It's practically impossible to create "art" or entertainment set in the present or future because technocract corps are deeply embedded and tenctacled, so you can't make anything current in terms of relevancy without helping to propagate the control that stunted evolution and exploration in the medium to begin with. And you have social media and audience creep into everything, which is why MDE's season 2 had no traction compared to season 1, because comedy can no longer adequately subvert or comment upon a system whose control is so complete, its walls of nepotism and filters for dissidence so scaled yet un-scalable, that even war is futile because they need millions to die anyway. Greater Israel won't be stopped and by the time Americans have mass awareness it will be complete, all of the noticing ironically not much different than paparazzi flashbulbs anticipating its arrival.

Time and the color/intensity of the sun have changed, at least the perception thereof in the individual brains of millions of Americans, which can't be explained by generational aging and transition.

>Tell this to a normie and you get a "you just grew older" propaganda thrown back at you.
I feel you and I think they don't get it either -- they don't have an Eye For Quality and Attention To Detail...

Everyone just got sort of lazier because hard work and effort wasn't rewarded. 90s/00s had this cynical problem where everyone shat on literally all forms of media...
Because the critic was getting attention like that.

So the creatives, despite making the highest quality thing they could produce -- were getting crapped on and told it wasn't enough.

So they gave up and low-effort everything now.
And just like everyone else, inflationary pressures make it to where everyone is trying to get paid faster and thus cutting corners and making inferior products they gaslight-market and pretend aren't inferior.

OP is correct though, normies just found a dismissive dialogue option that makes them feel smarter.

If you're a wagie, life just seems like one looong day at work so you tune it out. I've gone through periods of unemployment and am in one right now. When I quit my job, every day feels MUCH longer because I'm actually able to enjoy it. My last job I had for 10 months, it feels like the past 10 days now. It all went by at light speed it seems, because my mind tried to shut out the torment and trauma. I highly recommend getting out of the fulltime grind and just live in a trailer or something. You should have a minimum of 3-4 days off a week or you won't enjoy your life.

It's caused by propaganda and mass media. Now don't get me wrong, those things existed back in the 90s. The difference is that you were less exposed to them, especially as a child. If you wanted to listen to the hip new song, you had to first hear about it from a friend at school, then ask your parents for money, then as for a ride down to the local shopping mall to find it on a shelf somewhere. Nowadays, you get blasted by the gay of the day song via TikTok first thing in the morning as you are scrolling on your smartphone while on the shitter. Back then, you had multiple layers of filters and distance disconnecting you from the rest of the world (and its gayness). Now you are directly exposed to the gay 24 hours a day. It used to be you would watch the news on TV on the local station for maybe a half hour each day just to see what the local dickheads and niggers were up to. Now you are blasted by constant shill threads and trolls on 4chan over and over. The world didn't change. It has always been fake and gay. What changed is you allowed yourself to be influenced by the world. This is also why the internet changed everything, and everything pre-internet (or at least pre-social media) seems to be from a more innocent time. Thank you for attending my TEDX Talk.

Here the thing, conservatives have this special form of brain damage that causes them to irrationally prefer "the past" because that is the entire nature of their ideological bandwagon. The past, of the West at least, has a lot of things that were better, no doubt. Among those is:
1. An actual high trust society where people are intrinsically motivated to do right by their communities
2. Less hostility and division - women weren't yet brainwashed by tumblr feminism, and racial harmony was in a really good place because of "just treat everyone the same and stop noticing colour" actually fucking worked
3. Food was better, both better ingredients, and literally more nutritious because the soil hadn't yet been depleted

But media? No fucking way was media better, and if you think it is you're probably a zoomer who wasn't even around for it.
The reason its better is because making movies, television, music, games, all used to be gate-kept behind expensive education, expensive equipment, and access to publishing mechanisms.
Now, anyone with creativity and motivation enough can create whatever the fuck they want, AND get it out to as many people as want to engage with it, easily. This means a LOT more crap is made, but its a number game, and there is also a hell of a lot more amazing media coming out too.

For every game/show/movie you have low IQ nostalgia for, I could name one that came out in the last 10 years that is the same thing, but evolved and better. I thought about naming a bunch, but we all know how that would go, opinions are like assholes. Instead I'll just do one, to illustrate. I was there when Diablo 2 came out, it was fucking amazing. I was also there when Diablo 1 came out, it was also great but Blizzard hadn't yet hit their stride. Path of Exile 2 is the same thing, but better.

About the only game/genre that hasn't been matched is MMOs - there hasn't been anything like oldschool UO since, and there never will be again.

>I never quite understood that. Why is that? Why does time run out faster than it did before? It just doesn't make sense.
Brain plasticity. Children perceive time to flow a lot slower because their brains are more plastic than adults. As we age, our brains lose plasticity. However, increased neuroplasticity may be triggered either by certain psychotropic drugs, or by novelty. Obviously, as we age and gain more experience, more things become mundane and nothing is novel anymore—especially when we are confined to our respective socioeconomic classes where we are restricted to repetition and routine (unless you’re lucky enough to be wealthy and have the luxury of leisure time to pursue interests, learn new skills, and travel the world). When you’re a kid, by contrast, everything is new, so your days appear fuller. So the perception of time has both a biological as well as an environmental factor. Easy example: during covid, many people perceived days and weeks to pass rapidly because they were confined to their homes. That is like the maximum way of cutting out novelty from people’s lives short of putting them in a sensory deprivation chamber.

This happened to me with Kenshi. The thing is that if you have higher IQ than the normiecattle you need more complex games to have fun. Only actual retards can play Ubisoft Open World Tower Game number 20 and not get tired from the same shit. But the thing is that the average IQ is dropping.

point comes when human realizes it is the same thing over and over again
often not able to articulate and make sense of it due being drawn into npcism
(it is not the same as in the 'farmer work' and any trade/job that had to be done since modern jobs are often but not always about managing population in bustling cities)

hence time flies since people are on automode

This is happening with my washing machine. When I put the clothes in, the washing machine has a little screen with a 30 min countdown, I put an alarm in my phone too. The time in my phone, which is synched with internet, runs faster than the washing machine. Like always, last time It the alarm started ringing and there was a 5 min countdown left, today It was 2 minutes.

Your body as a "clock" so to speak, in terms of how it interprets events happening around it. When you're young, everything is new, so your recollection of time and memories is like recording at 60 FPS, but when you're older, a lot of stuff is mundane and routine (work) so your mind records things at 30 FPS or less which makes it feel like time compresses.

Aside from that, it's likely that this process of inturpreting time is also effected by some other factors. I suspect that having glycine can help fortify your inturpretation of time.
Why do I say this?
Because I take glycine and a separate magnesium glycinate and I feel like time is passing very slow again, despite being 31.
It's worth a shot trying to take it in the very least to see if you notice the same thing.

time got even slower for me once i turned 32, but it got faster at the same time.

6 years passed in a blink of an eye, but every day feels like its crawling
i wouldn't change it one bit, death is nothing more than a gate towards eternity, the sooner you come to terms with your mortality, the sooner most matters in life will cease to matter.

nigga do you realize that due to delta time, your 60 and 30 fps analogy falls apart since they both take the same time and even if we didnt add delta time, 60 fps would fly faster than 30 fps

>JUST PLAY OLD GAMES
But I've already played them. I know the level design, I know the enemy spawns, I know the story, I know the puzzles. There's no juice left to squeeze.

I simply want new things to be equally good or better than the things I had as a kid. Especially when those new things have 10x the budget and 100x the technology.

That's a reasonable expectation from civilization. In fact, it was the norm when talented, passionate people made things instead of """""competency crisis""""" diversity hires.

The shit you're talking about only applies to AAA studios, competency crisis and diversity quotas don't apply to scrappy indie developers, which is where the gold is. Its where all the great studios started, just there's an inevitable cycle of success leading to expansion leading to the problems mentioned

There are still holdouts who refuse to admit that the various experiments, like pretending women are just as capable as men or that race is just skin deep, and those people will always want to cling to cope like this that "oh it only seemed better because you were young at the time".

"Diversity" is just code for less straight white men. And that's why things are shit. People still do mental gymnastics about how it's "culture" or any series of -isms, but not the ones that matters, which relate to race and gender. They want to die on that hill and people need to make fun of them. Adding some fat blue haired lesbian or dumb nigger to a team doesn't magically make it better, it only makes it worse.

These days it's been easier than ever to actually make digital things and distribute them. The barriers for entry only get lower and cheaper with time. That does mean that we see more amateur things than before and you can argue that's why there's so much bad quality stuff out there. But that doesn't explain why some small "indie" groups of people are producing absolute bangers and why entire studios are winding down. We know why those studios have churned out dogshit for 10+ years and it's just politically incorrect to say it.

Back in the day on dedicated servers there was a sense of community, if you wanted to participate you had to hold yourself to some minimal standard and if you started ruining things for people, you'd get banned. Being around the same familiar people often enough would form a trusted environment that preserved the server culture. Nowadays you just get random shitheads thrown at you and there's less and less infrastructure to build a community.
Sound familiar?

You have just been psyoped into thinking everything is worse by a highly addictive social media algo that has hijacked your dopamine receptors with never ending rage bait. The more you scroll the worse it gets and the faster time seems to fly by as is it with all extreme addictions.

Zoomers and Gen alpha; the ipad babies had their brains cooked while they were still children and thus are the most miserable. Millennials are the last gen that knew what it was like before the social media mind virus took hold of society.

Think i'm kidding, ask yourself why zuckerberg and most of the other people that created this shit won't let their kids on social media.

"It's just because you got old"
Niggers I told everyone during and coming out of lockdowns we went into a time warp and everyone understood what I meant but now they're all bought into the "oh it's just age" even though we were on longer for only a year or two. I remember what the of a second is and we are no longer on that time. It has all literally accelerated.

I don't know about time differences, but modern entertainment being worse is definitely a thing. Old media was definitely better, but that's because fags try to push their bullshit messages and don't know how to be subtle about it. Like compare the symbolism in Alien to anything modern. If you didn't care about it you're still watching a sick movie. Now you have to sit through retards lecturing you on gay bullshit.
