You need to 1. run 1.5 miles in 13:30 (9:40 miles) 2. sprint 220yd in 47sec. 3. Do 28 pushups in a minute. 4. Do 32 situps in a minute. You can fail the initial test but need to pass the final test so some applicants were lying, then unable to meet the physical requirement by the end of training. Existing LE does not have all of these requirements. A 13:30 1.5m means you gotta make that time even if your HR is capped at 170 or so. So not easy for older applicants. You need to have excellent lactate clearance and run efficiency, so you'd have to be an aging track star or regular runner or train up to it.For me, a 50% paycut. However I hate the people who are pushing back on ICE.
