Let Trump send troops or make whatever moves he wants to "take over" Greenland and just ignore it. Just announce publicly once he's gone you'll negotiate with a responsible U.S. government some new agreement that sorts out whatever mess Trump makes. "Trump can send troops, build bases, whatever he wants. But we will charge him high rent and make the U.S. clean it all up when he's gone."
