Why does /pol/ claim the Iranian revolution is over because the govt claims it's over
The govt was claiming there was no revolution to begin with like a week ago "everything is calm" so what is supposed to be over if everything is calm? Trust the Iranian govt guys

People love calling the game before the last points are scored. The fact is that we won't know it's over till it's fully over, but the modern MO is to report first and ask questions never.
Just like how people were also convinced the revolt would succeed like 30 minutes into it starting despite the fact that the Iranian Opposition and (((others))) have tried this a dozen times and failed.
If modern /pol/ was around during 2003 there'd be anons believing the Baathists when they said nothing was wrong and the invasion would fail. If they were around in 79 they'd be declaring total Communist victory until Khomeini lined them up on the walls and mowed them down. They'd bet that the Taliban wouldn't seize power in Afghanistan and that the Bay of Pigs was part one of (((their))) inevitable takeover of Cuba.
It turns out politics aren't a total war game where you can hit autoresolve and know the outcome in 20 seconds. Shit is complex and sometimes random.

It's like weather forecasts or voting polls. You can make as much conjecture as you like but in the end you can't count the chips till they fall.

It's been like a week. If the CIA/Mossad revolution had succeeded, we'd know by now.
Hopefully they stop teaching women how to read and restrict internet access after this.

the thing is, there's been an internet blackout for over 3 days in Iran now, with Starlink getting disrupted by jammers by up to 80% for the last 2 days or so
so material couldn't even get out of Iran if there was any
so the only word we're left to rely on is from the same mouth that claimed nothing was habbening to begin with
and yet idiots on /pol/ are spamming threads claiming it's over

so weird and stupid. /pol/ used to be useful to get unpopular info from, now its useless

euromaidan began in Nov 2013 and the so-called revolution of dignity was in Feb 2014

She said George Floyd was murdered, on live tv, before his court case had concluded. Dumb bitch.
And they still elected her to the supreme court! Dumb bastards.

also i think anons forget that if the casualties are running into the thousands now, this is basically a civil war, not another series of protests
the previous protests racked up 600 dead in over 1-2 months
this has already gone up to officially 600 dead in 2 weeks with likely thousands dead/injured

Absolutely. The shift to people (4chan included) exclusively dealing in conjecture with the goal of 'my team was right' rather than 'this is the truth of what happened' is absolutely third world in every bad sense of that word.

It's done. It's over. You cannot stage a coup unless you go in and kill the current leaders. Protest is for faggots. Iranian scum got gassed up by an Orange pedophile and he hung them out to dry.

Because /pol/ is currently being flooded by actual paid shills trying to slide anything related to Iran off the board, with a helping of bunkercucks and groyper useful idiots trying to do the same thing. They aren’t being very subtle about it.
