>fighting ukraineWhen you say "fighting ukraine" there's this assumption that Ukraine is fighting on it's own. That's not true though, and they are fighting as part of a NATO v russian proxy war. UKRAINE isn't doing the heavy lifting. They aren't capable. And the sad reality is that everyone knew the most likely outcome of this was that they would ultimately cede small bits of land, and agree to neutrality. This is still going to happen, except zelensky and others prefer to have a million dead ukraine bodies before they decide to pull the trigger on a deal that's been on the table for years.
