> Indian workers earn highest median pay in Germany
German workers earned a median gross income of €4,177 ($4,900) a study published on Friday showed — more than €1,200 less than Indian employees.

https://www.dw.com/en/indian-workers-earn-highest-median-pay-in-germany/a-75370401

Why are so many Germans opposed to immigration of skilled workers?
>>
>>525833364
funny how this is a noteworthy thing at all. immigrants should always have a higher median pay than natives. why else are you letting them inside your economy if not to fill high-demand, low-supply positions (of which the pay is always above average)

(the answer is ofc to import service slaves and to wagedump germies to keep uncompetitive boomer businesses alive)
>>
>>525833848
> Please explain
“Its survey showed the median gross monthly wage for Indian workers reached €5,393 in 2024, ahead of Austrians at €5,322, US nationals at €5,307, and Irish nationals at €5,233.”

“The number of Indians working in MINT professions — mathematics, IT, natural sciences, and technology including engineering — has risen by nearly ninefold since 2012 to more than 32,800, the study found. About one-third of full-time Indian workers aged 25 to 44 are employed in MINT occupations.”

> Hmmmmm
Skills shortage combined with highest unemployment rate since 2013

Germany needs more skilled immigrants?
>>
>>525834708
>Germany needs more skilled immigrants?
they're just wagedumping. without zero/negative % euro interest rate, a boomer has to struggle to survive
just an all-around 200 iq move to dump this much money into public education only to then cück your population out of high-paid jobs. the few that somehow manage to reach the promised land past the wage stagnation desert ofc get taxed to hell. germini is a torture chamber where ppl get off on seeing everyone else get bent
>>

if you remove arcelormittal, they have the same average income like every immigrant

let's hope rearmament anxiety gets the best of germany once again at the expense of the welfare state. can't pay for both simultaneously anyway
>Schumpeter was famously pessimistic, believing that once a society chooses security (socialism) over the "Gale," it is almost impossible to go back because the psychological drive has been socialized out of the population. To him, the only way to "transform" such a state would be a systemic crisis that renders the "Circular Flow" (the status quo) so unbearable that the population is forced to tolerate the "Destruction" part of Creative Destruction once again

video footage already deleted, no witnesses interrogated. Mother set a bounty of 10.000 Euro for information

This is the same type of surveys that say pajeeets have the biggest "household income" while ignoring the number of pajeets per household?

In this case, they "surveyed" pajeets in universities and its all self reported numbers. How many Uber Jeet drivers got surveid?

Tesla is publicly traded. SpaceX will IPO at one point. Grok is open source (with delays), the hardware isn't but theoretically you can get your own.
>Es ist Feudalismus mit besserer Technologie.
To some degree, yeah. But essentially it's always a similar power law distribution of ownership and control, be it capitalism or socialism or whatever.
The author leaves out Musk's libertarian approach with emphasis on self-governance and free association. That most people buy his walled gardens and don't tinker or have redundancies isn't his fault, it's simply part of his Apple-like strategy that many people behave that way.
Anyway, that short opinion piece hasn't enough depth to seriously discuss it.

Another aspect the techno utopians see is that with advanced AI you can create all kinds of solutions, software etc to your problems, needs, and wants. With robots you can build things yourself, provided you have the energy and matter needed. So to a large degree the means of production are very much in the hands of the individuals with those tools (that you can buy [most will be very affordable] or are freely available).
But as we know, most people are lazy, passive, and have no agency.

More skilled immigration is the solution. Germans’ English language skills are getting better at least.

You need discipline. If people coming from small villages in India can learn math and coding on Khan Academy and get high paying tech jobs in Germany, so can you.

cuz the mintians cherrypick top jobs in metropolitan cities and highly specialized fields. doesn't conflict what I said unless there really was no local applicant who could have filled that position (lol)
>>
>>525857047
>>525844340
Akshually it is because many jobs in that field are a ripoff too. Yeah, you may be an on-paper high earner but they might force you to work more hours, do overnight hours to hit deadlines etc.
Silicon Valley is based on abusing H1B migrants for that. Musk tried to meme himself as working and sleeping in the office / the floor in order to normalize this shit to his clueless employees

High salaries dont come with low demands.

this classically has never deterred local applicants. just look at big 5 consulting. you may hit the field running north of 70k/year as a junior, but if you were to break it down to hourlies and the fact they work you like a dog, it's not that great. musk gang mostly enjoys the fact they can hold the visa over their heads to crack the whip
>>
>>525860457
Not for now. Toward 2030 the pain will be high enough. And they're not a silver bullet anyway. Solar is easier and more incremental to install, also cheaper per increment. Nukes and solar are the two sources with efficiency gains and scalability potential. Wind is environmentally harmful, fuck wind. But I'm a layman who didn't run the numbers, so it's all gut feeling.
>>
>>525860830
>musk gang
The large majority of Tesla US employees are citizens, visa holders are below 5% or so. SpaceX should have even fewer as it's ITAR-regulated.

With gen z and late millennials its different. Shit doesnt work well with them anymore. Newspapers try to reframe this as "they are not willing to work", which in many cases is true, but high performers are increasingly aware they are getting shafted effectively at the per hour scale so they leave.
If you think about it its a scam anyway. Musk et al complain about there not being enough children but then they push 100 hour a week workweeks. Meanwhile, he has to pay some crazy Jewess 500k a year to have his child only for her to what it looks like to me extort him for even more $$$. Like this isnt going to be realistic for his employees to copytrade this strategy lol. The engineers there make like what 200k a year? The whole conservative ideology is a cardhouse and then they wonder why youth is turning to soicialism.

>high performers are increasingly aware they are getting shafted effectively at the per hour scale so they leave.
if you want to cück your population, you should at least have a decent collectivist lie to believe in. BRiDcels completely lost the plot there (as seen in zoomies unwillingness to sign up to get onetapped by drones)

Why are we immigrating millions from the third world that are incompatible with our culture and will send their money back to their own countries when we could spend a fraction of the money every company will lose in the next 5 years due to inflation and other shit, to train and educate German citizens and the youth and make work more attractive thus lift a portion of those out of poverty and possible criminals activities?
