If america kills itself over godless “principles” it will be the deserved end of the white race.

Principles and philosophy are fake. Lies. They were created to manipulate. Not to seek truth. We already had EYEBALLS for seeking truth.
>>
>>525850903
Dude, principles and law are not real. God does not enforce them. They are voluntary lunacy. If they don’t benefit you or anyone, and you are the one who enforces them, ignore them.

What is the problem? Just print $1000 bills. Or $10k or $100k..
>>
Ok and? Will he step down in the event his bad decisions turn out to have consequences?
>>
>>525851515
Consequences of taking pragmatic action regardless of legal precedent and law itself: you have to choose leaders more carefully than lightly regulated democracy allows
Consequences of making $1000 bills less scarce: no one values them as much

This shit is baked into reality

Democracy and law as supreme concepts, moral obligation? Not so much. Humans do fine with their complete absence and best by treating them as rough guidelines.

You understand the negotiation tactic of forcing someone to the negotiating table, right? He's always used it, whether it's in court or internationally, with tariffs. He says "tariff" and they scoff, and ignore him. He creates one, and they cry in pain, but they're willing to talk now. After they talk, he adjusts them. It's what the critics say is waffling. It's just more of the negotiations than we're used to seeing because he has to use America to get them to the table.
>>
>>525850613
Maybe he shouldn't have fucking done it then, right? Maybe he shouldn't have done a bunch of illegal shit that WE are on the hook for.

This would be the first time in his life that Trump would face any kind of consequence for his continuous fuckips, even one as small as this.
>>
>>525852629
There's no issue with that policy in itself, he just needs to get congress to actually pass a law giving him that power.
This is similar to the whole roe v wade thing. Instead of democrats going about things the legal way by getting laws passed that allow abortion, they simply got the supreme court to make up some bullshit that was always liable to be overturned. They left open the possibility of getting fucked by the legal system, because they never did things the legal way. It just took a while for the consequences of their actions to catch up with them.
>inb4 fuck your laws, power is the only thing that matters
nigger logic. That kind of thinking is the primary reason why their countries are shitholes.

Listen, I know you're angry, but do some looking; we're very fucked. America is fucked. Something has to be done. He's trying something. Theoretically, it could work, but it has to persist long enough, and Americans refuse anything that isn't instantaneous.

>>525853612
>The people benefitting from the current rules don't like it when they change, except even further in their favor.
What's your point here? This goes for literally everything. People resist changes that hurt them, and want changes that benefit them.
>No Idea why this is a factor, or what it even means or refers to.
The rule of law is primarily what separates shithole countries from ones where people want to live.
Letting Trump do whatever he wants because "principles are fake" is the fastest way to accelerate the collapse of America into a third world shithole. In those countries, the rule of law is simply which warlord or gang has the most power to hurt you. Having laws and principles is an attempt to elevate society out of merely violent fights for power, because that power gets abdicated to principles which don't give one person an advantage over another.
You can tear those principles down in an attempt to build better ones, but you run the risk of returning to a savage state, which can last for millenia.
>>
>>525854004
This response is based wholly on your opinion that there's no way that this plan can work, but something else would, and we're just not doing it. What should we do?

>People resist changes that hurt them, and want changes that benefit them.
We are not powerful. They are. The change is always in their favor unless the public is screaming for vengeance, in which case an example might be made of a patsy for spectacle.
>The rule of law is primarily what separates...
Are you referring to Trump being able to do things without approval, like tariffs?

>>525850613
How does Trump have Howard Lutnick as commerce secretary while saying this?
Lutnick owns Cantor Fitzgerald and they're selling rights to the future refunds for cheap.

It's a total conflict of interest inside his own cabinet.
>>
>>525854524
>We are not powerful. They are.
The only reason that is is because people vote for the retards in Congress.
If you can get people to change their minds, then these corrupt people will lose power https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFgcqB8-AxE
/pol/ likely got Trump elected, so it's certainly possible to fix things. There wouldn't be shills on here if /pol/ was powerless. We fortunately don't live in a country like Iran, where any choice against the regime is brutally ended.
>Are you referring to Trump being able to do things without approval, like tariffs?
Trump is going against the rule of law in thsi case, and so the supreme court should rule against him. Otherwise, they legitimize bypassing the rule of law, which will only make things worse in the long run.
>>
>>525850613
where has all that money gone
>>
>>525851275
In this case, denying the executive the the unilateral right to institute taxes would benefit a lot of people. Even if you are retard who thinks tariffs are anything other than a tax, wait until a Zoltan becomes president and taxes whatever he wants.

Paying back private citizens the taxes you illegally took may be a mess, but that is not a good reason to change the law.

I don't think democrats get how retarded they sound right now. Tariffs aren't helping, but neither will that and encouraging it to make it worse is selfish as fuck. Nearly cult-like "drink the kool aid and Trump goes away" bullshit.

Not everyone is a trillionaire dumbass

You got family offices speculating on a financial product sold by the commerce secretary while the president is saying it'll be the end of America if it pays out.

This is a ridiculous look for everyone involved.
Not to mention all the pardons Trump gave to financial criminals.

It's just a domino effect of pure greed and now they're saying it's going to affect the entire world?

Sure fuck Cantor Fitzgerald and Lutnick, but that's the commerce secretary and he's the commerce secretary because he's the representative of the greedy corporations.

Trump should have nipped this financial product in the bud and kept his cabinet straight before they sold bets on ending America for a quick 5x profit.

The amount of money available for bribes is immense, and almost all of it is redirected from our taxes to people who are available for hire within the government. If they can't be bought, intelligence agencies can. Hit squads can be hired.
We have to root out the traitors and hang them in front of the capitol, then hang those who bought them, then go to war with Israel.
