I'm 34 with 140k saved from living with my parents lol, gonna buy a house outright next year and won't even need a mortgage. My cousin just bought a house but she can't save for shit so my uncle charged her 'rent' since she was 18 that he said she can have back when she buys a house and he ended up handing over about 80k. I'm lucky my parents aren't retarded and actually acknowledge how fucked the housing situation is.
