We let them make their stupid choices and suffer the consequences. But then again I am someone who believes in one's own personal moral obligation to not do wrong. So for example if I was playing poker with a friend who I knew didn't have good money skills and didn't have a lot of money, I wouldn't be Morely okay with myself or someone else at the table tricking them into making bets that their ass couldn't cash the destroying them financially. Not everyone has that same level of scruples. But just because people are bad people sometimes does not mean they're selfish choices should be illegal.
