What happened to current generations of white men, I remember when trucks were a symbol of blue collar work. Now it seems like a symbol of retardation; in my experience it would seem failing an IQ test would remain to only prerequisite to owning one. These brain dead boomer cunts cant operate their large vehicle, regularly going over the line any time the road remotely has a curve. This vehicke trend is almost purely a white male thing, and almost entirely in North America. My honest reaction when I see these retards drive is simple. I remember that I would'nt expect anything else besides this level of failure. To say other wise would be a lie, I genuinely expect these people to drive like some brain dead cunt every time I see them. What's truely shocking is their massive egos as if they themselves dont see this level of inability on their part, does this not baffle anyone else? Simply put, you make white males look bad, how can we claim superiority if you cant even operate the vehicle that you cunts make your entire personality.

The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where "feed" and "seed" both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Chuck". So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Feeduck and Seeduck".

>>525912678
The fact that 2WD trucks are even sold in the first place is very telling

So you want less cargo space than a van, something way more expensive to buy and run than a car, with no intention of using it for its intended purpose (going off road)

Anyone who is not capable of regearing or rebuilding their own differentials should not be trusted to operate a motor vehicle.

Only minority software tech bros buy that trash. Sorry rangderp

I’m a college professor kek. I drive an F250 just to piss off my peers. I make fun of their Priuses and Subarus.
>>
>>525914099
Which F250? A late model? If so is it a 6.7 or a gas burner? Note: I will be judging you on this.

For blue collar work, construction, landscaping, forestry, electricians, welders, oil&gas, there are typically 3 types of trucks procured. Crew trucks, which are for a work crew and their equipment, whether that crew is 1 guy, or 5 guys. Field manager trucks, usually nicer equipped trucks that doesn’t carry equipment but can if it needs to shore up capacity, and usually ferries around a field manager and maybe an assistant manager to oversee his crews and crew leaders jobs and work sites. The third is usually a pretty upscale trim for regional managers and senior business development. Same job as a field manager but at a larger scale, but almost never carries equipment and is meant for taking out large sales prospects to lunch, ferrying around corporate execs who are checking in on ops, all the while being a truck and overtly stating “I’m blue collar, but I have authority and money”.

In their private lives, a lot of mid-level blue collar men aspire to be that last guy, the one pulling $180-200k before going corporate while having the optioned-out high trim truck. I’ve noticed the regional ops and bd guys, while having a corporate high trim truck, will usually have like a Benz or BMW, or something like that as their private car, which is more in line with their next step, going corporate and making serious money. So they want to look and feel the part in their private lives.

Not saying I agree with any of it, just what I’ve noticed as a finance bro at a major industrial.
>>
>pickups are popular with blue collar workers because they're necessary for a lot of manual labor
>over time truck owners develop a reputation for being practical and competent
>people that aren't in a field which needs pickup trucks buy them to seem practical and competent
>the average truck owner is now a software engineer who spent way more than he needed to try and fit in
>the average truck is a huge over-engineered piece of junk to appeal to people who only want it to show off
At least half of all "masculine" goods are like this btw
>>
>>525914217
A work truck should probably be a heavy duty 3500 tier chassis cab with custom flatbed/boxes. These trucks get beat up and usually dont last long. They are a work expense tax write off

But don't confuse suburban construction workers with people and landowners that live rurally and need an all purpose medium duty truck. Note- no decent medium duty trucks have been produced now for about 15ish years.
>>
>>525914283
Also this. A coworker has a tricked out toyota tacoma. Talks about how it’s the multi-tool of vehicles (which it probably is). However, he only commutes with it, and is probably the most domesticated guy on our floor. His truck sure makes him feel good about himself though.
>>
>>525914577
Tacomas are the "suburbanoid-adventurer" calling card.

I have 6 trucks for work and play, now they are just wonderful dds as long as you aren’t living is some historical downtown hellhole.
>>
>>525914482
Yep. Our 2500 and 3500 flat beds last 5-6 years, usually 80k miles a year. With an overhaul half way through. Some of our locations are relatively light on duty or mileage and so we may get 7-8 years out of those trucks.

As far as personal trucks. I own a 2021 Nissan Titan Pro4x. Why? I have about 120 acres in nowhere oklahoma, and putting my sxs on a trailer and loading the bed up with stuff to take care of the property a few times a year while I save up to build on it is a priority if mine. Also the truck is really great. The VK56 is a bulletproof engine and the truck was super feature rich for the price. My daily is a 2016 lexus IS, just something ai don’t have to think about outside of belts brakes fluids and filters.

I daily drive a truck because there are so many low IQ shitskins and retarded distracted women on the road these days it is too dangerous to drive anything smaller.

So I have significant land holdings in the deep south. (I'm not here to try and brag or be a dickhead because it's a blessing). Let's just say it's alot.

I have two trucks. A restomod squarebody K10... which is a mechanical and automotive wonder if there ever was such a thing. But it is not an all purpose vehicle. It has no overdrive gear, so you wouldnt want to be doing highway driving on it. It would be strung-out at over 80mph for any length of time. But from 0-60mph it is superior to any medium duty truck on the road.

My all purpose driver is a clean OBS vortec era Z71. My old lady's car is what I would drive on a long trip.

>>525912983
You know I never saw this dumb shit until I came to this garbage website and it’s not even funny it’s just fucking stupid and logical good job keep regurgitating it moron
>>
>>525915325
Those vortec Z71s are superb. A girlfriend in college has a 2dt 1995 K5 blazer with like 250k miles. Car ran great. Finding a cherry example for a decent price is tough. I went with the Titan because it’s a super simple truck with a ton if features. The shifter is even a column shifter!

2020 6.7
I had a 2018 F150 with a 5.0. I liked it better. I really didn’t need the 250 Kek.
>>
>>525915678
The only bad things about the OBS vortecs are the internal injectors (bad idea) and the 4l60e (which is not so great). But all in all I consider them in the top tier of motor vehicles.

For years I was public transportation only. I rented a GMC Sierra a couple months ago to help a friend move shit around and I'm fuckin buying one. It's huge inside and the seat is like a nice couch, it's powerful as fuck, its 4x4, it sits up high so it feels safer and definitely has better line of vision, they make bed tents and console coolers and dash gun mounts for them, I can tow an RV with it, and the thing still got like 26 mpg on the highway. I thought I was going to hate it and it ended up being one of the best vehicles I've ever driven.

1. Not more expensive than a car
2. Not far more expensive to run than a car
3. Not only for going offroad.

I don't even drove a truck and I can tell your points are all retarded and wrong. They may apply in Europe where no one has trucks, but not in the US went the best selling vehicle is a truck.

2WD has better mileage for gas and handles better on highways because of weight distribution and you can still tow with it too.

They are a bit silly considering how much 4wd helps when you need it. Even wet grass on a hill can be an issue with highway tires. Still that’s for others to decide.

Trucks have the lowest accident rate. I've never owned one and enjoy mocking the posers who just buy them for optics, but anyone who seethes about them to this extent is a huge faggot.
