I imagined a cell that contains a robotic arm that takes a blank shell billet, loads it into an induction heater for 5 seconds, unloads it and then hands it off to another robot for it to be loaded into a forging machine. After forging, it gets taken out and cooled in a bath before another arm takes it and places it in a lathe to be machined to spec. I'm not sure if that's actually how artillery shells are made though. Maybe my idea could work there. I'm still self studying everything from electrical engineering to actuation to control theory.
