If you're a full-blooded capitalist tycoon, you don't give a shit about nations or people or even your reputation. You just cut expenses and increase prices and let the invisible hand sort out the aftermath while you retire with a golden parachute. Competent programmers and training cost money. Hiring a million pajeets with fake degrees looks good on paper. By the time the consequences arrive, you can just quit and blame it on the new guy. In a world of quarterly profits, sustainability is an afterthought.
