Dude we should be stealing Chukotka because they actually want us. Up until 2014 Aleuts and Yupiks on Alaska/Chukotka side could travel visa free to one another. It was always a joke among us that Chukotkans lived in shit and squalor while Alaska was comfy. We used to have Chukotkans come to St Lawrence island and literally cry.They are yearning to be reunited with Alaska. And let's face it... Alaska is simply the best place in the world to live that far north. It's more developed than Canada or Russia. Yeah Scandis have Finnmark and all that but those are not really holding real populations.
