Would you shake hands with it, /pol/? Why are they telling us that AI will kill the jobs when they're planning on replacing us with twitching sewn-together animal part abominations? Before you say it this is NOT just for artificial pussy grip tech! This research has been going on for years and years, too, BTW. I'll post a spider video which was from 2021.
>>525944281What's the end game?
>>525944281Why would they do this?!
this is absolutely not sustainable.every time a muscle fiber flexes, actin and myosin molecules contract against each other, and with any amount of resistance (weight), some of those molecules are destroyed. That's the thing that causes muscle growth(no pain no gain). In dead tissue, there is no replacement of destroyed actin and myosin. What you end up with is a weaker and weaker contraction until it stops working at all. This would only make a "more efficient / sustainable robot" if you needed a robot that lasted for 1 day and then got thrown in the trash.
>scientists do something cool but weird>christcuck/pol/tards: THIS IS IT THIS IS THE ENDS TIMES I WAS WRONG ALL THOSE OTHER TIMES THIS IS REALLY IT FOR REAL GUYS THIS IS THE DEVIL THIS IS THE SIGN THE END TIMES ARE HERE NOW GO LISTEN TO MY PASTOR L'CHAIM SHEKELSTEINBERG TELL YOU SOME MORE STUPID SHIT
>>525944281>trust the science
>>525944643you spend too much time on the internet
>>525944611I'm suspecting the 'next step' is to detatch all but the basest autonomic functions from a living organism's brain and then letting it keep itself 'alive' while controlling all muscle function?
Man made horrors beyond your comprehension
>necrobioticsI didn't know that wasn't just a made up videogame/sci-fi word.It looks like we're in the prototyping stage of servitors, a shame I thought we were going to go to bottom out at a cyberpunk corperate dystopia but it looks like we're skipping a few Millenia and headed for 40k. Or maybe deadspace.
>>525944281MD Geist
the final redpill is that humans are demons or at least of demonic origin acting as a part of god's cancer
>>525944281Stronger grip than a claw machine. Finally going to win that charmander.
I'm getting bald and these niggas are playing with dead fish and spiders, fucking scientists.
>>525944817Too much extra work. >have a necrobiotic machine made out of semi-living animal parts>you forget to feed your machine its proprietary glucose nutrient paste one day so it permanently dies.Talk about planned obsolescence.
>>525944373How long before they begin creating giant spiders for bigger claws?
>>525944281HehNow we're getting to the good parts, underground labyrinths and dungeons, walking undead, minotaurs defending the labyrinths, traps, treasure, necromancers raising armies of the dead.(You) may get to finally live in an RPG anon, except it's a jrpg and you're so fucked until you somehow manage to hit lvl 2
>>525944281jesus fucking christ that is SO SCARY GUYSwhats next, people start wearing the skins of animals to stay warm or fashion weapons from their bones. I dread to think!
>>525944281This is literally what Dr. Frankenstein was doing in the book. Shelley read about experiments like this with dead animals before she wrote it.
>>525945520>Shelley read about experiments like this with dead animals before she wrote it.Women cant read
I just realized what it reminded me of was that scene from the Animatrix where they're doing that shit to human soldiers they captured.>>525944874 >>525944892 >>525944982 >>525945520
>>525945234don't go giving them any ideas, anon
>>525944281Pretty cool but what's the use case? Why not use synthetic material since it wont decompose? You'd be replacing parts every few days.
>>525944281This is based actually.
>>525944281So this is what they're going with after the AI bubble pops
>>525944330
>>525944281this HAS to just be cheaply testing more biological based design, right? RIGHT
>>525944330So we can still get new Mission: Impossible movies after Tom Cruise dies?I'm down, let's do it.
>>525944373>>525944281>5 years from now computer chip lithography will be measured in tardigrades

I find it offensive how the demonstration is cheating with the items to make them fit
>>525944281>>525944330>>525944373thats hillariousbut also sad
The police will probably prefer raid your homes with these
Stupid. Entire usecase point of robotics is that it doesn't have the flaws of organic bodies.
>>525944281Galvanic BLA BLA.This shit is older than dirt.
>>525944330>IRL wallmasters nowMake the man made horrors end!
>>525944643>ethics are a religious programmingThis is why they want to kill you. You're confirming that without religion, ethics don't exist.
>>525944817The next step is to manufacture clones genetically modified to lack anymore of the brain than needed to keep itself alive They're already working on it for medical testing
>>525944373>>525944330this shit has to just be some extremely cheap and hugely creepy way to test using the kind of hydraulics spiders use to move for robotics, because designing and fabricating shit like this at that scale would be much more expensive, especially while altering and testing and bug fixing
>>525948393they don't have muscles and shit it's just all fluid, they control their limbs hydraulicallysome of them not that well it's why some spiders move all jerky like stop motion puppets
>>525944330the same reason for drinking kid bloodimmortality good thing it will never happen
>>525944643>>525944281researchers have been doing this shit with frog legs for like 100 years now. Nobody cares.

>>525944373I used to do this as a kid. Take a leg of a spider. Then squeeze it a bunch and it looks alive again.

>>525944982Sneed's Feed & Seed (formerly Chuck's)
>>525948393Is would be way easier, we just need to develop giant spiders
>>525944611>In dead tissue, there is no replacement of destroyed actin and myosinThis is only the first step: use electrical signals to control the organism's muscles.Step two is to take living beings, sever their spinal cords, and use electrical signals to control their body.

>>525949295Funny you posted that, I was wondering just the other day what happened to that Armenian chick who used to post those videos. (Obviously yours got run through an AI face-swap, but the body and the horror are still about the same as with the original Armenian chick.)Anyone know what happened to her? I haven't seen anything new since maybe 2023.
>>525950000Checked
>>525952890She posts on Instagram pretty often. She looks better nowadays.
Guys, I'm thinking there was a good reason we used to bully nerds, and I don't think we bullied them enough. We should have killed them in school, not put them into trashcans.
