>>525951084I understand why they do it, I was driving down a one way downtown in a city I've never been to when I was 17, first thing he comes up with was have I been drinking and he said he smelled it, this was probably a tactic to get me to admit to it if I was and close the case quickly.For the weed thing, it was at a public park after dark, which hello many kids do that. So in both cases it wasn't the reason for initiating the engagement it was just the logical course of action, in order to get the suspect (me) to admit to it without doing a bunch of argumentation, and if the suspect admits to it, very easy (typically) to confiscate, bag for evidence, and start reporting charges.
