resources are running out and there are no substitutes. billions will die not because they must but because they are going to starve
Which resources do you think are running out fagtardo?
>>525956772>jobs and homes are scarce>but corrupt american give them to the lazy and in-debted. Yeah, gotta retrain lazy mother fuckers.
Oil is the result of tectonic activity and is thus renewable. Calling it finite is to keep the price of it higher. That said, we do consume more than the rate the Earth produces it, so there is a degree of truth.
wow it's almost as if we should invest in renewables
>>525957114>Oil is the result of tectonic activityI suspect this is true>thus is renewableYeah, just wait a few hundred thousand years for the wells to refill, no problem. Jokes aside oil is nowhere near running out anyways.
>>525956919Energy is finite, at some point in the future, should we make that far, they will look back on us with anger for being so wasteful
>>525957727This board's bullshit is infinite. Can we use that as a power source?
>>525956919>Which resources do you think are running outtolerance
>No trees and fieldsFuck off.
>>525957885if we could somehow harness the impact energy of retard such as yourself being dropped on their heads when they were children then i think we would have plenty of energy to go around but as it is we just don't have the technology to benefit from useless eaters like yourself
>>525956919BWC
>>525957611What worries me though is that it is going to run out eventually and nobody has any plans for that. Doesn't matter how deep the wells are, if you're burning it faster then it gets replenished, you're on a time limit. We need to be working on this.
A fact a lot of people don't realize is that we consume about as much energy in food as our automobiles do in gas. Solar energy though Agriculture is massive.
>>525958238>What worries me though is that it is going to run out eventually and nobody has any plans for that.Nuclear.Everyone is either pro-nuclear power, or pro fossil fuels. No exceptions. You think you're pro-solar, pro wind? No, both those positions are pro-fossil fuels. Again, no exceptions.
>>525958022truth
>>525956772that's not how things work, but okay I guess. when you get arrested in Minnesota for fagging out in front of an ICE agent, make sure you hold a sign so everyone here can point and laugh at you.>>525958238what are you talking about? replenishing oil is simple - pressurize coal. if you get worried about running out of coal or charcoal or other coal derivatives, most which can be gotten via burning organic plant matter, you just wrangle an asteroid. at least a hundred per year fly by that, if we were really in trouble, we could pull down, and the fact we don't is the proof anyone needs that we aren't in trouble.
>>525958238there's zero reason you can't just switch entirely to nuclear power, and the reactors only need refueling every four years or so
>>525956772>resources are running outThey're not, peak oil is the most retarded grift to exist. Global discovered oil reserves have literally never been higher.
The Resource Wars is an umbrella term referring to over 25 years of conflicts from the war between April 2052 and October 23, 2077, ending with a global thermonuclear exchange
>>525956772we have enough coal for centuries you lying double nigger
>>525958400Uranium is non-renewable resource; known reserves could last around 100 years at current usage, but with increased nuclear demand, some estimates suggest known deposits might deplete by the 2080s
>>525956919You think oil is infinite fucktard?

>>525958682It literally is
>>525958682Greenland is gonna be ours faggot, stay mad, you can sleep in the infinite oil cess pool.
>>525958811Try posting something trying to be reakhttps://www.iaea.org/newscenter/pressreleases/global-uranium-supply-ensured-long-term-new-report-shows
>>525958657>known reserves could last around 100 years at current usage, but with increased nuclear demand, some estimates suggest known deposits might deplete by the 2080sWhere the fuck are you pulling this from? Uranium is abundant relative to its energy density. And non-fissile U238 can be converted to plutonium.
>>525958657What about thorium?
>>525958942>Try posting something trying to be reakIt's not trying to be reak, Breeder reactors are an entirely viable solution to maintain U235 refinement.
>>525959114If we are going to hope for fairy tales let's add fusion power and warp drives
>>525958954Less viable as you can't ensure the safety of the reactor body. There's good reason to explore it, but it's better to use Thorium for conventional Uranium recycling.
>>525959194>If we are going to hope for fairy tales let's add fusion power and warp drivesAaaah, they've had an operational breeder reactor since 1946? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clementine_(nuclear_reactor)
>>525958841Even renewable oil will find an upper limit to extraction.

>>525956772The numbers are fake but in the other direction.Scarcity of any resource in the modern world is completely manufactured.
>>525959472>Scarcity of any resource in the modern world is completely manufactured. There's a few niche ones, like non irradiated steel salvaged from the sea bed. But that's secretive because it's so lucrative.
