In my fairer years I used to entertain the idea that Zionism is an evil poison and Israel truly might be the perpetrator of all the worlds woes.I’ve long grown past that and although I’m not a supporter of Israel I also can’t help but siding with them as time passes. Especially when it comes to policy outside of Israel/Palestine. The idea that “Zionism is being spread through propaganda” used to be a sort of niche idea held by Islamist and the politically far right, and now I see every other comment on social media claiming that ANYTHING to do with America or Israel is Zionist trash and evil. The Iranian protest are the best example of this shift. These people have been oppressed by an Islamic regime that does not hide the fact that they require complete conformity to their radical Islamic laws and to break them could be fatal.But this Islamic regime also completely drained Iran of its wealth and life. The Clerics quite literally drained the capital of its water to support its military infrastructure over the wellbeing of the people.Yet despite all the signs that regime change could bring actual well meaning change to Iran, people outside of Iran still are completely siding with the oppressors. I just find it absolutely insane that radical western leftist, radical Islamist, and far right conspiracist have now created some sort of triple entente alliance against..? Against what exactly? I have not figured it out truly to be honest. To me it seems like the radical Islamist have the other two groups wrapped around their finger. The western leftist and right wing conspiracist are the junior partner and will be quickly disposed of or assimilated into.
