Minister Delegate to the French Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Alice Rufo @RufoAlice:

We've been through Minsk, we've been through Budapest. Never again. We can't take Russia at its word, we know that.

And the third element was our refusal to allow negotiations that directly concern Europe's security to take place without Europeans at the table.

Believe me, this is why we want to rearm France and rearm Europe. This is what we are defending today in the Coalition of the Willing - the first embodiment of the European pillar for the defense and security of our continent.

The Americans are providing security guarantees today. We have convinced them. That means we carry weight, and we will continue carrying it.

"If they [Russians] are promising you well-paying jobs in Russia, you are going to end up in the army."

Ukrainian Defenders of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade captured a Ugandan named Richard Akantoran, who, according to him, was forced to fight on the Russian side.

He shared that he took a loan from the bank to buy a plane ticket to Russia after someone offered him "good-paying jobs" in the supermarket, factory, etc. But upon arriving in Balashikha, Richard had only two choices - to sign a contract with the Russian military or die from a bullet to the head.

According to Richard, three more people from his country signed the contract. One night, he decided to flee the positions without equipment and surrendered to Ukrainian soldiers near Lyman, Donetsk region.

They chased it unsuccessfully.

Then, the tanker renamed itself Marinera and changed its flag to Russian.

The West has set itself against Russia because it represents "a very attractive alternative for the civilizational development," Russian patriarch Kirill said.

In his opinion, Russia is also becoming a spiritual opponent of Western civilization, because the West "justifies sin."

"That civilization justifies sin and considers sin to be not a sin, not a violation of some commandments and principles of life, but an alternative to human development," he said.

What today's summit in Paris has changed is that, for the first time, there has been cooperation between Ukrainians, the Coalition of the Willing - that is, Europeans, Canadians, and others - and the Americans. And the Americans have said exactly what they are prepared to do, what they are prepared to support, and the solidarity they are prepared to show.

They will be responsible for monitoring the ceasefire, which involves checking whether the border area is being violated or not. These operations will be conducted by the Americans after the peace deal is made.

Several thoughts on the outcome of the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris yesterday.

1. Europe sees Ukraine as a vital part of European security. Europe seems ready to finance, arm and train a 800,000 Ukrainian army that will essentially become the main security force and protection against Russia in Europe.

2. The issue of security guarantees - until they are ironclad and ratified by parliaments, they remain intentions, not commitments.

3. So far, Russia shows no intention of being ready for peace. Putin will play for time, pretending to be interested in negotiations but will show no real inclination for a ceasefire and peace.

4. We should closely watch the situation in Venezuela and Iran. Should the US take action in Iran as well, Russia's oil income will shrink even further, but in a three-year perspective. This will both strengthen the US positions in future negotiations with China (and the war in Ukraine is part of those negotiations), and should lead to Putin being more realistic about realities on the ground.

Throughout 2025, Russian companies and vendors continued to import Starlink equipment for military use, bypassing sanctions.

The UAE - particularly the Sharjah-based logistics company Emaross Group FZE - serves as a major transit hub, with terminals moved using falsified customs paperwork and routed through locations such as Hong Kong and Europe.

These sourcing pathways appear to feed directly into the domestic availability of Starlink systems in Russia. Starlink terminals remain in use by Russian forces in Ukraine and are widely available for both military and civilian purposes through major online marketplaces, including Wildberries and Ozon.

Some retailers explicitly market Starlink systems for military use, in some cases offering camouflage guidance for terminals following purchase.

Starlink panels have also been found in Russian drones.

In December 2025, in the Zaporizhzhia direction, a sabotage and reconnaissance group from the Bratstvo unit - part of the Tymur Special Unit of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence - carried out a deep raid behind Russian lines near the Kakhovka Reservoir.

During the combat operation, the Warriors eliminated two Russian occupiers, wounded two others, and captured another two.

Afterward, Bratstvo fighters conducted a complex and lengthy escort of the prisoners - covering a distance of approximately 27 kilometers - and brought them to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

The captured Russian soldiers provided valuable intelligence on the locations of Russian officers, artillery positions, drone operators, troop concentrations, equipment, and ammunition depots.

After a very productive meeting today with President Trump on a variety of issues, he greenlit the bipartisan Russia sanctions bill that I have been working on for months with Senator Blumenthal and many others.

This will be well-timed, as Ukraine is making concessions for peace and Putin is all talk, continuing to kill the innocent.

This bill will allow President Trump to punish those countries who buy cheap Russian oil fueling Putin’s war machine.

This bill would give President Trump tremendous leverage against countries like China, India and Brazil to incentivize them to stop buying the cheap Russian oil that provides the financing for Putin’s bloodbath against Ukraine.

I look forward to a strong bipartisan vote, hopefully as early as next week.

An analysis of the situation in Iran by Navid Mohebbi @navidmohebbi
, a Washington-based Iran analyst and democracy advocate:

▪ By all measures, Day 10 has been the largest and most widespread day of Iran’s new uprising.

▪ Protests swept across all of Tehran’s bazaars - not only the Grand Bazaar, but many others as well. Bazaar strikes also took place in at least four other cities. In a recent speech, Khamenei tried to portray bazaar merchants as loyal because of their role in the 1979 revolution. Their current defiance is therefore a major blow to him. In Tehran, merchants did not merely strike - they left the bazaars and moved into the main streets.

▪ Unlike recent days, when protests were largely confined to nighttime, demonstrations have returned to daytime hours, marking a significant shift and escalation.

▪ Intense protests were reported in Tehran, several cities in Ilam Province, Shahr-e Kord, multiple cities in Khorasan Province, Sari, and many others. A notable feature has been larger and more tightly packed crowds.

▪ The regime has sharply increased its use of shotguns firing pellet ammunition. A second attack on a hospital was reported - this time in Tehran, following Ilam - prompting condemnation from human rights organizations. Hospitals are becoming targets for the arrest of wounded protesters.

▪ As of now, approximately 25-35 people have been killed. State media claim that security forces are now prioritizing the arrest of so-called "leaders" and carrying out mass detentions to suppress the protests.

▪ Families of those killed are told they can receive the bodies of their loved ones only if they state that the victim was a member of the Basij, or agree to burial without public funerals. Families who resist have, in some cases, waited for days without receiving the bodies.

>An analysis of the situation in Iran by Navid Mohebbi @navidmohebbi, a Washington-based Iran analyst and democracy advocate:

▪ State media are promoting a demoralizing narrative, claiming that if President Trump intervenes, he will not allow Crown Prince of Iran Reza Pahlavi to lead a post-regime government - similar, they say, to what happened in Venezuela.

▪ Regime media are also widely amplifying any foreign media reports predicting that the regime will not collapse as a result of these protests, or claiming that external assistance harms Iran’s protest movement.

▪ Outlook: Protests are expected to continue for at least the next two days.

Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski @sikorskiradek:

Putin still dreams of subjugating all of Ukraine, which is not achievable.

If you look at the map of his military gains for last year, for which he paid with tens of thousands, possibly over a hundred thousand deaths of his soldiers, at this rate, it would take him decades to conquer Ukraine.

But this is the trouble with dictators: once you've been in power for 20 years, there are very few people who tell you like it is, and people only bring you the good news.

They are really scared to even talk about the idea of sending troops to Ukraine. Macron is sweating balls telling everyone "it's just for after peace!!!".
Just fucking do it. Go to your soldiers and create an unit out of volunteers. Force no one to go there, but of course pay premiums for those who do.
That would be enough to have quite an army in Ukraine. Of course there will be casualties, but that's when you hammer home the fact its all on a volunteer basis.
>But how do you sell that to Russia?

Russian 'Z-military bloggers' are outraged over the seizure of the Marinera and Sophia tankers by the US. They threaten the US.

◾ "If this goes on like this, the question will arise as to whether he [President Trump] should be allowed to physically live out the rest of his term."

◾ "If we put aside the complaining and lamentations, the fact is this: for the first time in contemporary history, the United States has made a public, insulting gesture toward the Russian Federation by seizing two Russian tankers. For the first time! Nothing like this happened even in the cunning times of Yeltsin.

Not to mention the USSR - for all the clumsiness of the system, we always tried to respond to American rudeness and went all the way, reminding them of good manners. Now we are showing weakness. This is an alarming and bad sign. Weakness never leads to success. On the contrary, the Euro-vipers attacking Russia and the crazed Ukro-Nazis have received a clear signal.

Unfortunately, this day will go down in history. The enemy loves symbols, and the attack on Russia on Christmas Day for Orthodox Christians is no coincidence.

We are on the verge of great trials. Even greater than those since 2022."

◾ "If the Americans seize our ship and we limit ourselves to rhetoric about 'red lines,' it will convince Trump that we are just a very large Venezuela. That Russia can be twisted around his little finger, and there will be no effective 'response.' And the American president will start getting brazen on the Ukrainian track, deliberately putting forward conditions for a peaceful settlement that are impossible for us to meet. And it will all end with the American army standing on the contact line. And Tomahawk missile carriers will enter the Black Sea."

>Russian 'Z-military bloggers' are outraged over the seizure of the Marinera and Sophia tankers by the US. They threaten the US.

◾ "Until the insolent Yankees and their European lackeys start getting PG-7V grenades fired at their pirate helicopters and unmanned surface vehicles-kamikaze into the hulls of pirate vessels, they will not understand that pulling off such tricks is dangerous to one's health and economically unprofitable. In general, it would be nice to sink at least two ships working for pirate states for every Russian tanker seized."

The crew of the Marinera tanker, seized by the US, is under investigation, US Attorney General Pamela Bondi said.

"As a consequence of failing to obey the Coast Guard's orders, members of this vessel are under full investigation and criminal charges will be pursued against all culpable actors," Bondi wrote on her X page.

During a press briefing on January 7, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the US judicial order authorizing the arrest of the vessel also applies to its crew, which means they are now "subject to prosecution for any applicable violation of federal law and they will be brought to the United States for such prosecution if necessary."

The Embassy of Ukraine in Italy has called for the cancellation of performances by Russian artists supporting Putin - Svetlana Zakharova and her husband, Vadim Repin - in Florence.

The Embassy sent a letter to the Florence City Council and to the management of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino theater, stating its position on the inadmissibility of performances by Russian artists scheduled for January 20-21.

The Ukrainian side emphasized that such performances are aimed at "whitewashing Russia's reputation" amid its armed aggression against Ukraine, and that it is consistently explaining to the Italian side the "true objectives of the participation of so-called 'cultural figures' <...> directly or indirectly involved in the government institutions of the aggressor country."

Svetlana Zakharova supported Russia's occupation of Crimea in 2014. The troupe scheduled to perform in Italy also includes other Russian artists who, after 2014, performed in the occupied territories or took part in events supporting the Russian army.

We understand that the American side will engage with Russia, and we expect feedback on whether the aggressor is genuinely willing to end the war, President Zelenskyy said following NSDC Secretary Umerov's report.

Following yesterday's negotiations in Paris, Umerov reported that a bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine is essentially ready for finalization at the highest level with the US president.

"We are also informing our partners about the consequences of Russia's strikes, which clearly don't indicate that Moscow is reconsidering its priorities. In this context, it is necessary that pressure on Russia continues to increase at the same intensity as the work of our negotiating teams. The feasibility of future security guarantees must be proven by our partners' ability to exert effective pressure on the aggressor at this very stage," the President added.

She married a participant in the so-called "special military operation" in hopes of improving her life - out of convenience. According to her, she endures living with a husband whose mind is "completely gone" after combat, and expects her life to change within three months. If that does not happen, she says she is considering divorce.

One of the most massive Russian attacks on Kyiv.

Russia carried out continuous strikes overnight using ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones, deliberately targeting civilian and critical infrastructure.

40 sites were damaged in Kyiv, including 20 residential buildings.

Russia also attacked Lviv, Kyiv region, Kirovohrad region, and Cherkasy region.

Four people were killed, including an ambulance worker. Dozens more were injured. There was also a secondary strike on one of the residential buildings while emergency services were providing assistance after the first attack. Five rescuers, four medical workers, and one police officer were also injured.

Overnight, Russia attacked Ukraine with 242 drones, 13 ballistic missiles, one Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile, and 22 cruise missiles.

In addition to civilian infrastructure and energy facilities, the building of the Embassy of Qatar was damaged by a Russian drone last night.

Russia's defense ministry has confirmed the use of the Oreshnik missile against Ukraine.

This was a demonstrative strike that achieved nothing.

The ministry said the strike was a "response" to an alleged attack on Putin's residence - the same attack that Ukraine did not carry out and that President Trump does not believe occurred.

Earlier, the Kremlin gave hints that they are ready to launch an Oreshnik strike on Kyiv (aka "decision making centers").
But Russia launched a strike on Lviv region, which borders with Poland.

Russia's main strategy when it's very cold in Ukraine now is electricity and heating blackouts in Ukrainian cities. Putin wants to freeze Ukrainians and cause a massive wave of migration. He thinks that the frontline will collapse then.

Negotiations are ongoing. President Trump is hurrying them along. Putin stalls and escalates.

Ukraine needs maximum support this winter and maximum pressure on Russia.

This has to be done jointly. Weapons, sanctions, the shadow fleet, information and cognitive war.

Russia must be stopped.

Ukrainian Security Service has demonstrated the pieces of Oreshnik that Russia used to attack Lviv region.

The parts found so far:
▪ stabilization and guidance unit (the missile's "brains", essentially);
▪ spare parts from the engine installation;
▪ fragments of the orientation mechanism;
▪ nozzles from the platform of the firing unit etc.

Ukraine regards using this weapon against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure as Russian war crime.

By attacking the civilian objects near the border with EU, the Kremlin attempted to destroy the infrastructure for survival of the region in severely declining weather conditions, the Security Service states.

The revolutionary situation in Iran continues to escalate. Mass anti-government street protests continue. The number of participants has increased again, including in Tehran. Clashes with law enforcers have once again taken place. There are reports of administrative buildings being set on fire.

Against the backdrop of the protests, the authorities have completely shut down Internet access across the country, so information coming out of Iran about the protests is fragmentary.

Is Moscow really ready to lend a helping hand to the Iranian regime? I think that even if it wanted to, it couldn't because it is tied up with the war in Ukraine.

To all appearances, the assistance is limited to several transport aircraft with means for dispersing demonstrators and rumors of Khamenei's possible escape to Moscow. There are also reports of a certain movement of Iranian funds and valuables towards Russia.

In general, the Kremlin is, of course, interested in prolonged instability with the prospect of preserving the regime in some form. This will put pressure on the oil market, and Brent crude prices will rise.

But then, what's the problem with this? OVERVIEW: How the Czech ammunition initiative works, who pays for it and why there are disputes surrounding it

>The Ammunition Initiative is an international project led by the Czech Republic, the aim of which is to quickly secure artillery ammunition for Ukraine, which is defending against Russian aggression, and ensure its delivery to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the war of attrition that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has turned into, artillery ammunition is crucial. For the Czech Republic, the initiative represents a strengthening of its international role and develops the operational and organizational capacities of the state.

>The initiative was created as a response to a situation where it became clear that the Western defense industry was unable to produce enough ammunition in the required quantity in a short time. Within the framework of the initiative, the Czech Republic acts as a coordinator: it searches for available ammunition on world markets, verifies its quality and ensures contracts and delivery logistics. However, the purchase itself is usually not paid for from the own budget, as funding is provided by partner states.

>According to Czech representatives, thanks to the initiative, it was possible to deliver approximately 1.5 million units to Ukraine in 2024. In 2025, another approximately one million pieces of large-caliber ammunition were to arrive in Ukraine through the initiative.

>How the initiative works is fairly straightforward. The Czech side identifies suitable ammunition, often outside the European Union or NATO, then checks its technical condition, compatibility with weapons used by Ukraine and will assess delivery times.

>>
>>525973155
That can't be Kiev. I was told there's no electricity there.
>>
>>525973708

>Once the offer is ready, the countries involved, such as Germany, the Netherlands or Canada, release the funds. Ammunition is then purchased and transported to Ukraine. The Czech Republic manages the project, but does not bear the financial burden.

>The idea of the Czech ammunition initiative appeared at the beginning of 2024. It came as a response to the acute shortage of artillery ammunition on the Ukrainian front. The then Prime Minister Petr Fiala presented the proposal at an extraordinary EU summit in early February 2024: the goal was to purchase large-caliber ammunition outside the EU, as European supplies and production were insufficient for the pace of the war.

>Shortly afterwards, President Petr Pavel spoke publicly at the Munich Security Conference about the fact that hundreds of thousands of ammunition, especially 155 mm and 122 mm calibers, had been found in "third countries", which could be delivered in a matter of weeks.

>From the beginning it was a model, in which the Czech Republic functions primarily as a coordinator and intermediary: it searches for available ammunition around the world, connects suppliers with donor states, helps with verification and logistical assurance of deliveries. At the same time, it was emphasized from the beginning that details about the origin and routes cannot be published on the part of the suppliers, because some countries do not want to be publicly associated with the supplies and disclosure could jeopardize the supplies.

It's still going to take that long. Russian influence poisons everything in a society. You need a new generation educated by a non-Russian education system without Russian propaganda networks to have a chance of having a country capable of truly joining the EU.
Similarly, you need decades of anti-corruption work by an outside, superior entity, to wipe out the majority of corruption, bringing it down to something resembling a Western level.

>The main funding for the purchase of ammunition is provided by the partner states, while the Czech Republic acts primarily as a coordinator and mediator. Norway, the Netherlands, Canada and Denmark are repeatedly mentioned as specific examples of payers. The costs of the Czech state result from indirect expenses that typically appear in similar projects:

-personnel and administrative capacities (officials, coordination, legal background and ensuring the security regime)
-logistic and organizational costs (part of the work associated with transport, inspection, contract administration)
-security costs (information protection, background checks, secrecy regime, possibly protection against hybrid threats)

>However, the exact amounts can only be estimated. The Ministry of Defense is reluctant to release detailed data that could put supplies and partners at risk. In the reality of the military trade, according to the Department of Defense, transparency cannot be fully fulfilled.

>On the other hand, even if other countries pay for the ammunition, by the fact that part of the work and orders take place through the Czech environment, the initiative can bring jobs and sales to Czech companies.

Russia struck Ukrainian ports in Odesa region, hitting two vessels and causing casualties.

While en route to the port of Chornomorsk, a Russian drone hit a civilian vessel flying the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, which was heading for loading with grain. A crew member, a Syrian national, was killed. The vessel’s seaworthiness was not affected; it remains underway and is heading to the nearest port.

Near the port of Odesa, another vessel flying the flag of the Comoros, carrying basedbeans, was also struck.

UK Defense Secretary John Healey, standing in Kyiv at the site of one of Russia's strikes on the city last night:

Putin talks about peace, but he's stepping up and escalating his attacks, not just attacks on the Ukrainian military, but on civilians and cities like this.

It's brutal, it's cynical, it's exactly why we've got to work so hard to help Ukraine secure a peace.

It doesn't matter.
Russo-Soviet influence is a poison that stays in the people it's infected, regardless of if Russia still exists or not. It takes an entire new generation raised outside of that influence to face a non-Russian future.

"My hands are itching to take on Russians."

Ukrainian Defender Olena Yakovlieva, 54, has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for nine years. In 2022, she returned to the front line and became a sniper - a profession Olena had dreamed of her entire life.

In the spring of 2023, near Bakhmut, Donetsk region, her position was shelled for more than half an hour by a Russian tank and self-propelled artillery system. More than 36 direct hits struck the dugout.

Olena sustained a traumatic brain injury, damage to the optic nerve, hearing loss in one ear, and multiple fractures.

"At that moment, on the position, I mostly wasn’t afraid of the shots and incoming fire. I even laughed. The first hit - boom, the second - boom. And you laugh because you’re still alive. Usually, artillery and tanks work a certain area. If you survive one or two hits on the dugout, they move on to another spot. But they [Russians] kept hitting the same place over and over. And when there were already about a dozen strikes, I realized that was it - they had fixed on my position. They weren’t going to switch targets; they were going to destroy, dismantle my position.

I realized that and looked up at the sky - it was so blue. And I said to myself: 'God, if my time has come, receive me in peace. Let me meet death calmly.' And I felt relieved that I wouldn’t go missing, because everyone could see what was happening to me. And somehow it worked in such a way that, it seems to me, I kind of died in that moment. I accepted that I was dead.

Reminder that it was Jews and the Jewish-dominated and Jewish-controlled early Soviet Union in the 1930s, along with ethnic Georgians like Stalin that at best did not stop it, that intentionally committed the Holodomor against millions of ethnic Ukrainians, Russians, Kazakhs and others.

Reminder that Jews like Zelensky and Victoria Nuland are more than happy about Slavs killing each others in horrible numbers, and that they actively orchestrated that outcome. Victoria Nuland was a main character in the 2014 coup meant to set Ukraine on this horrible collision course, and she according to leaks said something like "Fuck Europe" as she was picking who to lead Ukraine in the aftermath of the 2014 coup. And Ukrainians had already by then been deeply indoctrinated, along with Jewish oligarchs like the once long-time partner of Zelensky, Ihor Kolomoisky, planting the seeds of division through bribes and murder. The prolonged war is more than fine to them. Jews, especially Bantu-spirited Jews, are more than willing to risk WW3 and nuclear war, no matter the consequences for the human species and any risks to its survival. Some Georgians and Crimean Tatars in modern times have also foolishly been willing stooges for the Jews in the plans against Ukrainians and Russians.

Reminder that Russia and Ukrainians both made foolish mistakes, often spurred on by internal Jews and the golemized and Jewified West, that made them more vulnerable to Jewish manipulation, division and conquest.

Reminder that Reddit and 4chan is controlled and owned by Jews.

>Russo-Soviet influence
the Soviets don't exist, soon the Federation won't exist, people will always try to hide themselves away from the truth, like the nazis, and their glorification after, but ask yourself 'are they the same Nazis?' no of course not, like communism, it's the myth and the projection of the myth they chase, not a actual cause
The so-called 'new ruzzia empire' is a myth that monke wanted to Will into existence, he cookie cuttered history to fit this myth, but the myth doesn't fit with reality nor for what ruzzia today really is, There is no Real Ideology and universal identity found there, it's all just Cosplay to fit the means with no clear goal in the end
>>

>the Soviets don't exist
But their influence does. Many pro-Soviet politicians are still alive, and some are still in power.
Many Soviet-trained military officers are still in power.
The Soviet legacy poisoning Europe is far from gone, as of now.

Hell, the United States has major political-ideological movements directly financed and supported by the Soviets gaining power even now.

One of the biggest problems come from r*zzia allowed to memoryhole their actions throughout history. Rewriting history, brainwashing etc. If they're allowed to exist after this, these should happen:
1. No more federation, ever. No 3rd tries.
2. Atrocities of their people need to be out in the open, no memoryholing, no allowing the "mysterious pidor soul" to exist.
3. Harsh punishment for corruption, no more gansterecomics. They should hold no office in a few generations, since they clearly can't without it turning to an existential threat for the whole human race. AI can do that.

Teaching those animals how to be humans will take time, and that burden is on them. They'll need to make huge societal and economic leaps whilst paying for reparations. But hey, they're already serfs/slaves, so they'll manage in a few generations. And with the correct oversight they won't step into the same mine they did in the late 90's. The Soviet era's economic stagnation never truly ended, these are the fruits of that. No point in continuing that failed experiment, since it always leads to this very same conclusion of misery. Everything needs to be demolished and rebuild. Everything. So at this point it'd be just easiest to TZD everyone in the fake fraud nation who's not ashamed enough. Sucks to be them, right? But it's their own fault, their parents & grandparents fault. They wanted to become the cancer of humanity, they'll get treated like a tumor.

I am Finnish.
As an example, our former president, Tarja Halonen, as a pro-Soviet, pro-Russian, who brought our nation into the Ottawa treaty with the malicious intent of weakening our national defense, is the perfect example of the kind of pro-Soviet politician I am talking about.
>Nothing changed when the Soviets got into power, nothing changed after the Soviet Union fell, even when Monke a Old Soviet reject cosplaying as tzar, still nothing changed, these are at all times russians, this is how it always been in their existence, ruzzia has never existed without Power Vertical, always a tzar at the top and serfs at the bottom
And that's just untrue.
Our modern leftist parties and politicians are globohomo retards, who aren't pro-Russian anymore, but instead are anti-white, as that is what modern leftism has taken upon itself to represent; to destabilize a nation culturally to foment a socialist revolution.
>And the cancer you speak of in the west has always existed too, namely blinding greed, it's not for the so-called ruzzia cause, it's people trying to gain short term profit and power, and not even thinking about long term interests, their own national security and personal safety

Nah, they're ideologues. They religiously believe in the tenets pushed forward by modern leftism.
If it was just a question of greed, they would never sacrifice themselves or their popularity for it, they'd never pretend to be leftists to begin with. They'd just be your average right wing politician; all greed and betrayal, no actual benefit for the people they're supposed to represent.

On the draft issue, Russia is more moral than Ukraine.
Russia has privatized the war, more or less, and runs it on a mostly voluntary basis through profit incentives. Ukraine has nationalized the war, and forces people to contribute, including with their bodies, on threat of state violence.

On every other issue I side with Ukraine, but on the draft, I'm with Russia.
