I have an idea on the greenland thing.Denmark is manically insisting they won't let Greenland go. Greenlanders actually don't like Denmark that much.What if the Greenland acquisition was phrased more along the lines of 'helping Greenland achieve autonomy"? With US assistance, US investment, US military protection....etc. The end result should be that Greenland gets a sense of independence, with the option to join the US at any time, while the US gets all its boxes checked on defense.
