Went 2 years ago. It's boring as fuck unless you like gambling. The clubs, the "day clubs", the strip clubs, etc are all shit. Expensive for no reason, full of people not even having fun. Everyone just looks pissed off. Thought about going to the Coyote Ugly bar in NYNY and one glance inside was all I needed. Girls looking bored slightly moving their hips while standing on the bar top.The hotels advertise cheap prices then double it when you show up for "resort fees". I did everything I wanted to in about 2 days and spent the rest of the week walking around drinking vodka I bought at the ABC stores cause the bars are overpriced and disgusting. Went to a few stores I could've visited literally anywhere. The food is super overpriced, gone are the days of those cool cheap Vegas buffets that serve crab. Those are like $80 - $100 per person now.Vegas blows. The best part of my trip was getting a line of coke from a stranger in a bathroom and watching the Bellagio water shows every night while smoking cigs. Waste of time

I went in July. I enjoyed it. I don't drink and gamble much, but I did a bit. All the food is good, but expensive. Slot machines seem really rigged, I know they're not there to make you money, but the bonus game nonsense seems extra shitty. Never been before, but it did seem like vehicle traffic and foot traffic was pretty low. However, I had a view of the airport from my hotel room and it seemed like planes were constantly taking off and landing. I know everyone Ubers everywhere, still surprised there was less traffic than my small town has at rush hour. I stayed at the Aria, the one famous for the most expensive bottled water. It's just bottles of Smart Water, the same that's a buck or two across the street at CVS. Strangely, the front desk offers free water, but it's really small bottles. But you can ask for as many as you want? It's just baffling, I know it's convenient if the water is right there in your room but seriously, why get that reputation of being expensive?

There aren't many people walking through it though, which may be due to lower numbers. But regardless, literally no one is shopping there, and it doesn't seem like people ever will. Just these stores with $1000 jackets, shoes, and purses. And this giant wooden sculpture that looks like dick and balls. Where is the customer base for that? Vegas local reporting in. Rooms are dirt cheap now and any hotel that isnt part of a mega corp is waiving resort fees. The fine print is that you still have to put $100 deposit per day down. This is obviously to prevent niggers from nigging. The tourism slump has been great for locals. Some spots are even offering 50% off on certain days and tons of free shit. Also with deportations through the roof, there are no ways to hire cheap illegal workers to clean the rooms. This equates to entire wings of hotels being shut down until busy season kicks in. Less traffic, less niggers, and no thieving spics to raid your room safe. All in all its a win for anyone who lives here. I travel to The US about once a year. I always visit Vegas. But I will say that the prices they operate with now is just insane. I usually go to MGM Grand. Back in the days you could get rooms for almost nothing. Free parking, no resort fee. Now, its just nuts. You pay as much for a night there as you pay at a luxury 5 star hotel. And not to mention the insane prices on food and shit. Fucking $40 for a pack of cigarettes and $15 for a bottle of water. But Vegas is pretty crazy if you think about it and just one night with parking, hotel room, food, perhaps some alcohol (they give you free drinks when you gamble tho) that itself easily make it $500 a night. Over here in many countries you can easily get 4-5 star hotels for $50-$100 that is really nice. I have never been to Russia or a lot of the eastern european countries, but I know you can get some insane shit there for a very small amount of money. Pretty sure that both Moscow and St Petersburg will give you some really nice hotels for a very cheap price also.
