If a nuke deal can be achieved and Iran and America and Israel agree to leave eachother alone I expect Iran will reform in the next 10 or so years. I dont know how theyre gonna be able to overthrow the regime easily

>>526092072This is the elephant in the room and always has been. Iran wasn’t an attractive conventional war prospect for the US and the Israelis knew it. But if you shake it all up and see what happens then the Iranians, or whatever is left of the regime, might agree to some meme “peace” where they give up anything remotely strategic and the US goes in on the ground with no real opposition. Same reason why the allied forces didn’t finish Saddam off in 1991 even though they wanted to. They didn’t want the casualties. So they made him jump through hoops for a decade, drawing down his arsenals, then went for itI don’t really care what happens in Iran but it’s clear that this, at the very least, is the same play that they’ve carried out elsewhere
