Zoomers are so incompetent that employers are increasingly choosing to hire people in their 40's, 50's, or even beyond:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2026/01/14/workers-age-new-jobs-baby-boomers/

Whose fault is this? It seems to have gone into overdrive during and after covid:

>The average new hire was 42 years old in 2025, according to a Revelio analysis released Jan. 6, versus 40.5 in 2022 and 30 in 2016.

We just had a lesbian zoomer fired today because she was hitting the weed pen right outside the office where everyone smokes. Someone reported her. It was pretty funny. I heard her arguing with the boss that she has a medical card and she has anxiety

This has literally nothing to do with zoomers and is more about companies doing their best to get people with experience so they don't have to train them. Every fucking company is scared of training anyone because they have this fear that some company will pay a fortune to hire the person after and they will just disappear asap, so they decide they'll just pay a fortune to get someone from another company and become the very thing they fear.

The result - nobody is trained. I'm sure there will be no long term consequences.

Seems like it can keep going for another couple decades if good-goy 40-something X'ers and Millennials keep grinding for Mr. Shekelberg.
