Not surprising. The party not in power almost always does well in midterms, and the party that benefits from low turnout does even more well. Democrats are both right now.
The real test is not the 2026 midterms. The real test is the 2028 presidential election. That one is looking to not be so pretty for the Dems.

the 2026 midterms arent dem vs gop but pro vs anti irasel. Both parties have israel skeptics and those candidates will
>win primaries
>spoil their party's secure election
>lose by very small margins
and most importantly
>actually win in larger numbers than anyone's comfortable with.
There will be so many mainstream politicians the adl and aipac have to call anti semites that it'll effectively create a bipartisan anti semitic caucus. The term's power will evaporate.
