>>526120393>UM SORRY SWEATY, THIS HOMOSEXUAL MILLENIAL ACTUALLY JUST FACT CHECKED YOU
>>526120393It’s more of a pre-modern cultural revival than anything else. Philosophy, religion, tradition, aesthetics, and a plethora of other things are far more relevant to people under 30 today than they were 15-20 years ago. It’s shallow if you’re viewing it from the pov of an autist, but it’s very real.
>>526120393Yes it is. Go to the nearest Orthodox Christian church and there will be a disproportionate number of zoomer men. Talk to the priest and he'll tell you about the surge of converts there have been lately.
It really isn't t. Atheistic zoomerwaffen
>>526120393the chuds' copium dreams aren't real? so surprising
The only religion Gen z is interested in is esoteric gnosticism and that’s just because of the memes.>”bro, you mean there’s a religion where god is evil? That’s sick”
>>526120393Buy an ad, megafagBuy an ad, megafagBuy an ad, megafag
And Gen-X revived old clothes and styles with thrift-store shopping and retro
It's real. The secularism experiment has failed, it's a shallow meaningless existence. In a couple generations we'll be back to being a predominantly Christian society just as we should be.
>>526120393The only people I see interested in religion who didn't grow up religious are contrarians who grew up in irreligious environments.
>>526120393Yeah of course it's bullshit, religion is fake and gay.
>>526120393christcuckery is coming to an end after 2000 years of psyops
they still worship judaism
>>526120393>trusts pollsGet away from me you Satanic hueman-bean counter.
Doesnt Christianity promote submission to the one true god the Jewish god and people? Sounds based to me finally anti semtism will die off.
>>526120393>young American adults arent very religiousthis might have been news 50 years ago
>>526120393Gen Z is OUT on charismatic churches. Completely out. The flash was a good distraction during the boomer years. Nowadays we are so awash in entertainment that people crave simple, sincere traditions and peace...not the performative bullshit.
>>526120393Communist sociopaths aren't going to relate to "religion" they're communists.Religion isn't really scared of a doomed generation like zoomers or millenials.
>>526121675This. One of my best friends is a 22 year old and we connected over stoicism.
>>526120393>The Gen Z “Religious Revival” Isn’t RealI know, but YOU can make so!
>>526122130Lol, no. 'Orthodox' churches barely exist in the US. That's like 3% of the US Christian population; it's irrelevant. Overall, zoomers are turning out to be slightly LESS religious than Millennials.
>>526120393christcuckery is a disease
>>526120393I believe in the God of Violence. Yeshua with the divine sword Excalibur.
>>526120393>he thought the revived religion would be Christianity
>>526121675they're into all that because they think it makes them look cool and above their "normie" friends. but then they go and make tiktoks about why being a christian or muslim or buddhist is good and cool and how they're totally doing it all correctly. it's just an aesthetic thing, gen z are a bunch of posers in every niche and subculture
>>526120393>smug retard in glasses says soI see plenty of zoomers at Mass. He's just a persnickety faggot.
>>526120393it's almost like statistics are completely fake and designed for a purpose.didnt' finish watching but it would be funny to consider immigration in this context.>young bri'ish are much more religion now!christcuck faggots are such liars, I don't think it even matters if it's christianity/islam/judaism at this point.
>>526120393I'm not watching your video but the Christian thing does seem very astroturfed to me.
>>526120393It really depends how you define a "revival." Someone else in the thread already mentioned about younger men who are becoming Eastern Orthodox, and I would argue in subsets of other denominations like the Trad Caths in particular you see people who are searching for stability and meaning in religion in a society which has largely overlooked and rejected it. I think there's a split between people who are on the more conservative side of attitudes who flock to the more structured "high liturgical" Churches with history because they believe that the type of traditional outlook the American Evangelical Protestants have is guilty of producing the current irreligious society by being too theologically deficient to counter naturalism and atheism, and then you have the more normie to liberal people who go to the non-denominational Churches because they like the vibes of a modern humanist Christianity where there's more sentimentality and flexibility that can allow them to comfortably mold their interpretation of Christianity around them. Interestingly though, many of the traditionally successful groups which could fall in the middle like the mainline Protestant Churches are not seeing similar levels of influx, (though I would include some caveats). If we look at Gen Z overall though, I think the tendency is not a mass return to belief in the supernatural as much as there's a movement towards uncertainty, (agnosticism). Atheism has kind of tarnished its name, and while it still has a large following, a lot of people want or feel there to be something greater without necessarily accepting that the answer can be found in religion.
NOOOOOOO ZOOMERS ARE WORSHIPING A JEW, AND IF YOU WANT TO FIT IN YOU HAVE TO WORSHIP A JEW TOO!!!!
>>526120393>>526125732To be honest, I don't expect there to be a point where Gen Z and subsequent groups actually return in a meaningful sense by majorities. Though many make genuine inquiries, if you scrutinize the inquirers enough, you realize that many are turning to religion for sentimental or political reasons, not because they've rationally accepted the arguments for Christianity on a deeper level. The sentimentals want to feel some sense of meaning to cope with how miserable life and to feel secure, and I think they often are more tuned emotionally into feeling that experiences mean something even if they can't prove it. The political people are the ones who are primarily attracted to religion because it makes a statement about where they are politically or because they think it's a vehicle for reactionary change. The politically motivated start their inquiry into religion with whether a denomination is based, aligns with their personal sympathies and values, and if it produces like-minded people, and then they rationalize after the fact why that denomination or religion is actually the correct one, and may even go so far as to belligerently promote it online because they think spreading it will help society be more like them. And to be fair, I believe both types genuinely believe their denomination or religion is correct, but the logic they're led to use is flawed. These types of people often leave when they no longer get the same feelings or they feel like the religion actually serves less as a projection of their personal politics than they originally believed. I think as society continues evolving, so will people continue to pass over religion. It's not ever going to disappear, and it will probably keep rebounding, but people are too burdened with rationalism and naturalism that they are too skeptical of supernatural explanations, and the two types of converts I mention reinforces their skepticism. Maybe trends will change, but I don't know.
>>526126927And FWIW, I'm saying this as a Christian, not as someone who hates religion.
