Do you ever go to protests or do you just post on /pol/? I've already been out twice this year in response to the ICE shooting, and last year went to several rallies. I know that some amount of it is virtue signaling by people who won't follow up with other actions like canvassing for leftists or even confronting moderate dems and other apologists for the failures of the two party system, but having warm bodies in the street does make a scene that the media has a hard time ignoring and that's a good thing. anyway I'll post a selection from the last year or so until I get bored of solving the captcha
epic the max file size is 4 here instead of 5 on /p/ so I have to downscale these fuckers? that's annoying. I'll start with some that are under the limit I guess
okay resized now. please feel free to contribute your own OC
Go post about being a faggot over on reddit
>>526126756what AI is that?
>>526126756nah I've posted on 4chan since I was 14 i'm not stopping because of a temporary wave of bootlickers
so glad i dont live in California
>>526126877>BootlickerYou have no actual principals, you just prostrate yourself to niggers since it is your secular religion. I would genuinely like to meet you one day so I can ventilate you
2022 anti vax anti lockdown protest MontrealIt was brutally cold niggaz
>>526127046>I'm scared by people especially people who look different than me>i'm going to make this my whole personality and project an air of false confidence>also I love the idea of violence its my fantasy but the left is totally violent antifa terrorists and that's badlmaoing at ur life bud
>>526127114damn y'all were still locking down in 2022? crazy stuff.
>>526127237I am not scared of people who are inferior to me or their traitorous sympathizers, but I have no desire to share a country with those who are alien to me. And you misunderstand something, I am not against violence or boots, only who wields the violence and who stomps the boot. The only bad thing about ICE is that they don't go far enough and shoot subhuman scum like you on sight
>>526127504a real internet tough guy huh
My beloved citizens
>>526126251gay chungus retard shit
>>526126251>muh protesting The only thing that actually matters is voting, but with the electoral college even that is somewhat meaningless. The main purpose of protests in the US is to make the protestors feel good about themselves, I'd guess a large number of people who protest don't vote.
>>526128470there's a lot of work before the ballot box that also matters if you want to have any real influence in the candidates and policies, such as organizing and canvassing and of course fundraising. and of course the two party machine that basically reduces your vote to a choice between "corporate dictatorship with a rainbow flag" and "crashing the country with no survivors" for national level elections.
>>526126251Are you a pro or is it a hobby?
>>526128694just a guy with a camera
>>526128591There are meaningful things average people can do, but protesting specifically is usually meaningless and meant more for virtue signaling/status harvesting/feeling good than affecting actual change.
California vs Minnesota
>>526128803I don't necessarily disagree with you (as I said in my OP) but a. I think there can be value in people feeling that they can make a difference which goes to whether they will take future actions, but b. whenever there's a march or a rally the media reports on it and that influences the viewers at home to some extent, which also matters. for that reason I won't say its totally useless even if its is mostly useless.plus, funny signs sometimes
>>526126251No, I actually have a job
>>526128954Usually when I see the media reporting on protests it makes me want to vote more because I'm reminded of how biased the media is.
>>526126251When is there going to be a protest against kikes in the media?
These photos seem more White than usual. Is it just because it's cold?
>>526129191The sun is lower on the horizon during the winter, so it comes in at a lower angle and makes things seem brighter.
>>526129191I don't understand what this means. most of these were last year between feb-august, the first ten or so (except 2 and 3) were from the last week.
>>526129096This is cringe. People hate activists and videos where activists and protestors get run over and killed always get millions of views because Americans (especially Americans) hatred crybabies. If smartphones had been around in the 60s, none of the social revolutions would have gained traction because everyone would see how disgusting and shitty all the protestors were.
>>526129309the marines still get iraq gear lmao
>>526129345I mean you're not 100% wrong, people saw kent state on their TV and then voted nixon for a second term. sadly a lot of people see people protesting and think "I hate those guys"
>>526129448yeah they were ready for DESERT COMBAT and then the DHS guys looked like comic book police lol
Funny how there's more diversity in the G men than the protesters, the brothas really are sitting this one out.
>>526129553I wouldn't take my selected experience as overall representative - LA is a big place.
I was a leftist protester in the 80's and 90's to some extent.Good for meeting chicks i guess, too bad their brains were rotten from radical feminism and weird ideologies.
>>526129690Yeah ? you saying there are protests spread out over in the hood ? I'm guessing after Mexican gangs pushed them out of a lot of their old neighborhoods they might not be so inclined to care much.
>>526129690>LA is a big place. If there aren't brown protestors in fucking LA, there aren't any anywhere.
>>526126251>ut having warm bodies in the street does make a scene that the media has a hard time ignoring and that's a good thing.lol, you don't seriously believe that, right anon? it would be so foolish.trust me, media can choose not to cover your warm bodies or whatever, they are covering it because you're all playing the role they want you to play.
>>526129875well one of the first major protests was in compton, and then by the next day on the 8th they were downtown at MDC and at a bunch of other places around town
I'm sure a careful review of the photographs I've posted will reveal a veritable rainbow of people at these protests but feel free to believe whatever you want to>>526129973fair counterpoint I suppose
>>526129973>mediaAre you posting from the 90s unc? Nobody needs "media" to broadcast their protest, everybody's streaming to FB/Insta/Twitter/Rumble from they phone, and even if they weren't, BGonthescene has a Youtube channel.
>>526130173Damn, crazy photo.>>526130075I appreciate you anon. You sound like a reasonable person.
okay a few more from this last weekend and then I'm taking a break, if the thread is still here when I'm back then I guess i'll post more. anyone else with any OC feel free to keep the flame alive when I'm done.
Oh yes a rainbow of white and tanned people. No, like I said the lack of blacks is very telling. They're Act blue hasn't started bussing people around yet I guess.
>>526130209well I try to use my noggin as best I can, thanks.
>>526129004Looks like fun. How much do they pay per protest.
>>526130372I wish I was getting paid instead of shelling out on film and development costs on top of subway fare and the time spent doing the dang thing
>>526130319anon they're Mexicanssome token whites and Mexicans/Guatemalans. LA is 8% black
>>526126251>thinks protesting is action
>>526126251i see what ((you're)) doing here and I approve. i hope someone takes the bait.
>>526130319I think the issue is that the "No Kings" protest had its rhetorical roots in the idea that presidents shouldn't have so much power they're like kings, which is;Too abstract for the non-White portions of the Dem riot base >(he's the boss why shouldn't he have tons of power?)Too tied to heritage American ideals about the Revolution which many of those people don't give a rat's ass aboutThey were reaching for a shared system of classic Americana values that simply isn't there, thus the high incidence of boomers, the only members of that bloc who can be reached via such ideals.
>>526126251>Do you ever go to protests or do you just post on /pol/?Protests are fucking gay.I argue politics with people, I vote, if that's not enough I'll participate in a civil war. Marching around with a bunch of faggots does fuck all. It only worked for the left because the establishment left own the corpo press who will go out and report on their little lefty temper tantrums to try and swing the pendulum; but now that no one gives a fuck about corpo press any more they're just spitting into the wind.
>>526126251>the media has a hard time ignoringNo they don't. If the media support a cause they'll report a protest with a few dozen people like its a major event. If the media oppose a cause they'll ignore a protest with a million people in it or they'll just run some articles on the things they broke or the fights they had with cops. Every faggy little protest against Trump makes my local news station. The million man anti migrant protests in England barely got reported anywhere and when they did it was just talking about what rowdy racists troublemakers they were.
>>526126251Why would I go to delusional libtard protests? Those are all sexually frustrated dysfunctional retards and not too pretty.
>>526126877Kill yourself communist
>>526126753They sure are ugly, maybe that's why they are so angry all the time.
>>526131316there are probably some decent taco trucks around there
>>526127237Spoken like true mutt
