On some cases, left-leaning voters are likely to appear on some crime statistics, so instead of following the law, they blame everyone else and develop a vendetta against officers. The others have been told to hate the police and feign outrage, so they mindlessly obey their overlords off a cliff in order to fit in. All the while feeding their own ego, believing they are fighting the system. All of this likely perpetuates a tribalistic sense of 'us vs them' used to unite leftists against anyone who doesn't 100% agree with them.
