In law came requirement, that for them, to extend residence permit, they need to prove that they know latvian language on very basic (A2) level. Some of them ignored it, and received letter that they need to leave country within 90 days.Also there was ones, who were shilling for Russia. Some of them were taken by police, delivered to border chechpoint with Russia, and handed over to russian border guards.Those cases are low, but those are happening.Interestingly, that Kremlin spokewoman M.Zakharova in one of her press releases said that it is... inhumane.
