IDK about abolishing it totally but there should be some kind of tax reforms to keep flipping under control.But to the OP, what really gets my goad is that I've seen tiktok videos w\ guys telling people how to find section 8 housing. They find these apartment complexes and buy them, and then the rent is guaranteed because the government is paying it.. Makes zero sense... the government knows it has a certain level of demand for public housing. If there was such an apartment complex, why wouldn't the government buy it? Why let some random person middle man welfare? Because that's what they're doing. They're just skimming welfare money, and it likely rises w\ "market rate". Well, the government could at any point have massive amounts of public housing, and the rate would never change. The yearly expenditure on this is likely massive, and it's clearly wasteful.
