The reason why /pol/ pushes Catholic and Orthodox is because of their ancient architecture. It's attractive and can be used to push "white accomplishment." This includes now even Mormons because they have impressive architecture as well. It reminds people of the great architecture of the Greeks and Romans who white people idealize. Another reason is because those sects have historically been involved in military campaigns from the Crusades to all World Wars. They want a militant church. Pol has become a bunch of Pharisees that are in love with looking pretty and impressive to the public.
