what do you mean insurance companies in America can refuse to pay for treatment or surgery that a DOCTOR prescribed as necessary
>>
'Insurance' is a jewish scam
>we decide if we have to pay you
Ok Schlomo

Stories like that only come from the US. Insurance doesn't work like that anywhere else.
I pay a bit extra for private insurance to get extra checkups, I fucked up something and needed emergency surgery, and insurance wasn't even brought up. I went to a nice hospital, got my operation, then they got a document to pay for it. It's not their job to decide what is necessary, doctors decide that.

I know people from greece and I know how fucked up your system is. Literally having to bribe to get treatment.

Read your policy. It outlines what is covered and what isn't. So it doesn't matter if something is prescribed by a doctor, if it's something that your policy doesn't cover, then insurance isn't going to pay for it. Why is this such a hard concept for people to understand?

insurance in every other instance is supposed to cover rare events, often once in a life time events like your house burning down. Health insurance is expected to cover reocurring events, which is why the whole system doesn't work. Ideally, if health issues were actually once in a lifetime, it might work fine, but the general population is either extremely unhealthy, or stupid and choose to go to the doctor for the common cold.

Acting like it's acceptable makes you a massive faggot. Have fun spending hours on the phone with your insurer when you inevitably need medical care.
>Hurdur well I'll just not get sick in any way not covered by my policy!
What a kike weasel.

its their money so they decide the treatment. simple as.

Because doctors are also in the business and will say unnecessary treatments are necessary just to get money. For example, I work in the medical billing business and doctors routinely give steroid injections for minor issues like sinusitis to rake in another $120 in drug charges and injection fees on top of the $200 in professional fees they're getting for the visit. Insurance still pays it, in my opinion they shouldn't. Also old men getting TRT because they're insecure about aging : insurance pays for weekly testosterone injections, in my opinion they shouldn't. Insurance also pays out when obese people, gays, drug addicts, and alcoholics wreck their own health, in my opinion they shouldn't.

Insurance prices are what they are because insurance companies are overgenerous by a long shot, they are legally obligated to be in many cases thanks to the disaster known as Obamacare. Before Obamacare you had to actually make an effort to take care of your health to be covered by a health insurance company in a process known as medical underwriting. If you were "My 500lb Life" they would not cover you. Obama did away with that because he was a stupid nigger pandering to a bunch of obese niggers and fat landwhale dykes.

>I work in the medical billing business
So you're a filthy shabbos goy that needs health insurance to exist to justify your needless kike parasite job

insurance is always a scam
you're paying middlemen to skim money off the top for their own salaries
it's an industry that by design can only remain afloat if they're paying out less than their clients pay in
there's always an incentive to fuck over clients for profit which means it will inevitably happen

Cute elfu even tho it makes me very sad to see her sick. I have MS I had private insurance for a while and they were denying me treatment for months. Treatment that if I don’t get I will end up in a wheelchair if I don’t get it. Yes private insurance is fucked. What I had to do was petition the company that makes the drug to pay for most of it and then I had to drain my bank account so I could be poor enough to qualify for Medical and then I was able to get treatment with not issues because government healthcare as it turns out is much more reliable with higher quality healthcare. Which is insane it is the exact opposite of what retards say it is like here. Private healthcare is dogshit a total scam. Now here is the only problem I essentially had to take an oath of poverty and I can never have more then 2k in my bank account. I’m 32 the height of my wealth will forever only be $2000. It’s pretty blackpilling bro
