President Donald Trump has once again signed clemency paperwork for convicted fraudster Adriana Camberos, despite commuting a previous jail sentence once before in his first term.The New York Times reported Friday that Trump officially freed Camberos, who in April of 2025 had been sentenced to one year in prison. She was one of several Trump clemency recipients who went on to commit more crimes after being let out of federal prison.

Adriana Camberos, a convicted fraudster from California, was freed in 2021 when Trump commuted her sentence. She and her brother returned to crime, committing bank and mail fraud. The siblings were convicted in 2024, and Adriana was sentenced to 12 months in prison, while her brother received home confinement. They were ordered to pay millions in restitution, which will be erased with the new pardon. Adriana Camberos' pardons were secured by lawyers with ties to Trump, Stefan Passantino, a former deputy White House counsel, and Adam Katz, who represented Rudy Giuliani.
