I went back to regular cashier checkouts years ago. Not treated like I'm a potential thief and it might be even faster.
the funny thing is i have seen multiple times someone steel something or the security buzzer go off but the person stealing just ignored it and the indian women was like "miss please stop miss" reaching an arm out but didnt actually grab her. It was super awkward the last time because there was like 20 of us coming into the store when the thief was walking out and the buzzer went off and she was just like "uh oh, stealing" but no one cared enough to do anything more than give her judgmental looks.

I kept getting "an attendant has been notified" then the girl comes over and waves her card over the scanner and resets it "ok you're good to go". Then I learned they can do it and she was hitting on me.
