I think it’s hilarious and very telling.
Canada is about to start importing Chinese EVs that completely blow Tesla and other Western electric vehicle companies out of the water. And Western firms completely rely on these tariffs to protect their dominance in the EV market, but now Chinese competitors are poised to roll in and take over. Canada has always been a junior partner to the US and/or UK, but now they’re going the route of so many U.S. enemy States and getting closer to China. Realizing with Trump’s new tariffs that the U.S. does nothing but debt trap them and push them around, which isn’t even good for the Canadian bourgeoisie. But most hilariously of all, Canadians are now gonna be driving around in tricked out Chinese EVs while Americans are stuck driving Teslas with outdated tech. This will make so many Americans jealous, including me, and will make apparent the gap between U.S. and Chinese technology. I really think a lot of Americans will be salty when they see the Great White North whipping around in Chinese EVs that have 18 computer screens & can transform into a boat. And I for one, love to see it. American’s need to realize that we could also have this futuristic technology if we got rid of our dictatorial capitalist government that holds back progress.
>>
XPENG will soon start delivering "The Land Aircraft Carriers". You will literally be able to fly into the US on that motherfucker. Also, get yourself Yangwang U9 Xtreme - the fastest car in the world.
Canucks will soon start driving and flying in style.
>>
If we think the US is just going to let us do this we have another thing coming

This is a yuge provocation

China already got close to 100% of Russian car market. Canada will be next. Despite EU tariffs, Chinese EVs today outsell Tesla in the EU. The quality of Chinese EVs have increased rapidly in the past years.
BYD Seal compares quite well against Tesla Model 3 and Mercedes CLA. Efficiency is still clearly behind these two class leading cars (lower range)

I run an EV shop, Tesla is still overall the best EV at the minimum because of its software. But Chinese EVs are getting there, and they might take over.

you're retarded

https://www.carsguide.com.au/car-news/all-the-chinese-car-brands-in-australia-and-their-models-98237

this is how it will play out, it'll be priced to compete with gookshit with the same quality too

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automotive_industry_in_Canada

this is what it will kill lmao

It isn't just efficiency, at this moment build quality and also software is significantly inferior but I think Chinese will get there, similar to how Korean cars used to be considered cheap but got really good.
Still at this moment I think it makes more sense to buy a used Tesla than a Chinese car, and if people in fucking Georgia can afford to regularly buy Tesla I can't imagine why that would be an issue in Canada.

Americans hate EV's
>>
>>526246810
I 100% support libshits buying chinese EV's that will spontaneously explode with them inside.
>>

No if the US wasn't threatening you and this deal was proposed your leftists would have had a meltdown. Canada's basically losing their last functional unions, China has less labor protections than even private companies in the US.

>Chinese EVs are rapidly outpacing Teslas in charging speed, with new breakthroughs allowing some models (like BYD and CATL-equipped cars) to add hundreds of miles of range in just 5-6 minutes, approaching gas-fill-up times, while Tesla's Superchargers typically add about 150-200 miles (275 km) in 15 minutes, though new, faster Tesla chargers are in development. Chinese innovation focuses on ultra-high-power charging (like 12C rates) and 800V architecture, enabling truly rapid charging from 10% to 80% in under 10 minutes for some vehicles.
Yeah I'm thinking China won.

>>526246810
Yeah slave labor and no environmental regulations, along with very low r&d costs since all the ip is stolen makes for a steong contender. But its gonna be like exploding hoverboards with 50x larger batteries so that will be fun.
>>
>>526246810
Trump already approve us imports of chunk evs
You dumb hillbillies need to stay of the internet
>>
I prefer my used Dodge Ram 1500 sport, 2010.

EVs are fucking overpriced to hell and pointless in the cold north, you stupid mother fucker.

Globalists dont care if you have a job they mostly just want you dead so they can rule over people who dont complain about silly things about human rights amd enough income to have a decent life.
>>
>>526248661
They only won the race to the bottom. But dont worry, you canadians are catching up.

They only know how to make goyslop and technology for troons.

The batteries are that explosive, eh?

While a subtle bonus, the negative externalities (spy-vehicles, potential danger to others) I think may outweigh it.

You are stuck in 2005. You are laughably wrong.
>>
EVs are like 5% of all car purchases in Canada btw. They made a deal for like 3% of their entire market.
>>
>>526246810
Mutt-slop. Trade was fine until you elected a retarded old pedophile.
>>
>>526246810
Canada obliterated their own auto industry, which is one of the few things they produce. All they got out of it was lower tariffs on canola. It is a massive cope to see this as a good thing for Canada.

Also Tesla wasn’t popular to begin with in Canada.
>>
>>526248661
Doesn’t matter how fast it can charge when your electrical grid can’t handle it or put out the necessary watts. Level 2 charging for you at best.
>>
EVs are a complete meme until we get some kind of battery breakthrough.
>>
>>526249062
Yes. The globalists are using China as the only place that manufacturers things so the people are weak and and even if a nation falls they can use China and Chinese made weapons to take it back.
>>
>>526251808
They want the electrical grid to be connected to your social credit score, no power unless you're a good goy. "They" being the banking cartels, black money, and the mid atlantic consensus, internationalists, are going to be tossed in prison if they're lucky, dragged until they're bloody stumps if they're only slightly less lucky. If things go really poorly for them their entire bloodlines will be wiped out.

Its funny because the libs that are anti-Musk are also anti-Russia. By buying Chinese cars, they are helping China help Russia.

the cars are going to be manufactured in a Chinese plant in the US. the UAW better get their shit together if they want to stop the bleeding.
