Why do western companies need to go there for quality control?

Basically it says without saying, the chinese are not trustworthy.

For example a 30 year old japanese alternator still works, but a new one from china is broken and doesnt work from the start.

Why?
>>
Just open it and clean the windings
Not much that can fail in there

Cheap. Child labor. CCP membership.

chinks literally don't care if their shit doesn't work or breaks insanely quickly, as long as they can shift big volumes of garbage and bribe some retard to put it on a shelf they figure some sucker will buy it.

>Why do western companies need to go there for quality control?
Americans taught the Japanese quality control - everything Toyota knows we taught them.
So what happened, then? Why hasn't America been best quality in the world for the past five decades?
Jews.

Yeah, the thing is, i bought a new one but it reads 19volts on idle. So i dont know what is going on. Its should 14-15 volts or something. Another guy said it could be a bad ground

All American.
In the 1950's, Deming went to Japan to teach them how to rebuild their industry.
The samurai spirit allowed Japan to prosper, using what we taught them. The European-Christian spirit has been decimated by Jews.

Could be but the bearings on the old one are a bit fucked. It still works, but it makes noise so its bound to stop working when im going to my wagecage
>>
>>526252861
normal charging voltage is ~14v, you can check the ground and make sure because that's probably it, an old ass car like that is probably corroded to the tits anyways.

>>526253038
Lol no I used to... Late 90s and the alternator looked pretty much identical. I loved shitty 90s cars because when anything went wrong they were so easy to troubleshoot

No you said quality control. Japan had quality control before America was a country. You are just referring to industrial manufacturing

Around 2018 I purchased an e-scooter from China with a legit 2,7 kWh battery. Back the the market was new, and you either had offerings from legit companies like Xiaomi who only give you small 0,4 kWh batteries, or you had homegrown garage entrepreneurs in China who offered badass 2,7 kWh e-scooter for $1500.
Eventually it got stolen by thieves sadly.

Fast forward 2023. This is now the big biz era, the old guard of unproitable entrepreneurs have long since been replaced with profitable scammers.
2 scammer methods I have noticed.
Scam#1:
You find a good deal, you order scooter.
Two days pass and you wonder why it hasn't shipped yet, you check the messages.
Chang will be at the message center telling you there has been a problem! The product is "out of stock"
buuuut.... Chang will let you select between these 5 other scooters with shittier specs for the money. You don't have a choice according to Chang he refuses to cancel your order and refund you the money. He will then extend the "to ship" time window now that negotiations have soured, he now has your money hostage for 20 days and will taunt you
>if you don't select alternative scooter I will keep your money or a long time!!

Scam#2:
Chang will give you scooter with fake battery size, and it's going to be dificult to notice unless you're really nerdy and into the physics/mathematics of the battery game This is now the big biz era, the old guard of unproitable entrepreneurs have long since been replaced with proitable scammers.

Speaking of quality control, it was the German who went to Japan and brought back the idea that each worker should also be a supervisor.
>>
>>526250973
Why would you ever buy from a middleman that's reselling you the cheapest crap he can find?
Buy from the chinks themselves, nigger.

Scam#2:

Its not just China. Its the engineering field as a whole.

99% of all engineers today are not working on new things. They are working on making working things worse in an attempt to maximize share holder return. Everything they do is centered on planned obsolescence or determing the cheapest way to remake a product that already works.

>how can I design this to fail after a certain number of uses?
>does this need to be metal or can it be plastic?
>how do I make this product so annoying that users are forced to upgrade?

These are the questions engineers are asking now.
>>
>>526253956
Well its a reputable company and i couldnt find a bosch one for my car. So i went with the next most expensive one. Maybe i fucked the grounding up but im scared it will fry the ecu if im gonna try it too much on 19volts
>>
>>526253506
no, we literally taught Japan statistical QC, and then they made it better. If you deny this you're wrong, and simply educating yourself can remedy this.
>>
>>526253574
>They love scamming.
That half true.

But in reality, it's because the sellers who offers the best bang for the buck has long since been driven to bankruptcy by the scammers>>526253625

>>

The honest sellers who offer the best deals earns less.
The scammers who deceive rake in the most customers.

If its 19volts then the voltage regulator is bad
There is a small aluminum box cover on the alternator that is normally held on with a screw or clips. Under this little box is what looks like a capacitor and contacts but its a voltage regulator to keep the voltage constant. If its 19v at idle then it will be 25+ volts at speed. The voltage regulator is bad in the alternator and its not good to put it on.

>>526253201
Disassemble the new one and pull the stator out with bearings and swap them. Or take the china built one back to the parts house and return it.
>>
>>526255928
"Mei banfa" is a quality issue, not a price issue.
>>
>>526256326
So you dont think it can be a bad ground?
>>
Thats probs just the shit they sell us. Some products are good but you have to know what you're looking for and who to deal with. Most importer just go for the cheapest prodcuts that they can sell at the highest prices. Which is why here in the UK a load of government stuff is cheap and shitty.
>>
>>526250973
>>Why?
it's cheap
when it's cheap, it gets ordered
when cheap stuff gets ordered, expensive stuff doesnt' sell
when expensive stuff doesn't sell, quality producer goes banrkupt or moves production to china
when quality producer goes bankrupt, or moves production to china that's when chinese dictate the terms
