I think it would have been extremely fascinating and fun to explore the world during the great age of colonization in the latter 19th century, when the British Raj was instituted and Africa's interior was penetrated for the first time by Europeans/Whites (think Dr. Livingstone and Stanley's search for him). I like the phrase "toxic nesting" for women's nesting and nurturing instincts being hijacked and then becoming antisocial motivators.
