UK is called "Airstrip One" in Orwell's 1984.
>>
>>526267206
Because it's just a giant military airbase
>>
1984 made a lot of accurate predictions. Only they weren't predictions at all because the entire book was anti-communist propaganda. The whole point was to say "if the USSR wins the cold war m, this is what the world will look like". Well they lost the cold war and it still happened. Most of the world lives under a global capitalist system, not a communist one. And still all this shit is happening.

No, we're not.

The anti-American leaders are actually despised among the patriotic European population, which is the majority.

It's actually not a bad idea, except in real life oceania will be Australia, New Zealand and all the pacific islands. Each region will be solely responsible for what goes on in that region, any outside interference from another region invokes the wrath of all regions on the guilty party. Wars can only be fought within regions between nation states following all the normal procedures of diplomacy and results of conflict are final.

england is getting fucking rekt in this map
>>
>>526264103
It doesn't, and the implication is there that there isn't even an actual war at all. It is only presented in propaganda.
>>
>>526267834
It was a rigged game from the start. Muh capitalism va muh communism. The elites feed the public with both hands. Esaus gambit is a tactic used not just for centuries but thousands of years now. Play both sides, and you win everytime

Why do you always leave out Kazachstan and Kirgizstan from the red? You have no idea, they are very culturally close to russia. People in the cities don't even have a slightest accent. It is like you are talking to someone from St. Petersburg, only looking chinese. And why do you add western europe to the red, that place is fucked up.
>>
>>526262923
I'm convinced NATO globohomos keep parroting this "Russia strong" meme for more gibs
They can't even take half of a country at their doorstep after 12 years of fighting

WE is superior to 1984
In fact 1984 is most likely directly inspired by it, despite Orwell claiming otherwise.

We were beyond 1984 levels since the 1970s don't forget your mobile phone is a worse surveillance tool than any listening post or hot micker from 1984 , it's a GPS listening devices that you carry willingly.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_(novel)

I think it's very apparent how We was written by someone who ACTUALLY lived under a totalitarian government compared to someone who wanted to warn about it.
1984 ultimately ends with the "oppressive state" defeating the hero and making it seem like fighting against the powerful state is a lost cause, while We ends with a much more realistic "hero defeats himself (mentally)"
The real battle against an ever-increasingly-oppressive state is in the mind. Once you accept the shackles unto yourself, then the battle is over.
The female protagonist in 1984 was little more than a plot point to have the male protagonist's story move forward. The female protagonist in We might as well have been the real main character and truly displays the point of the story and how you really fight against oppression. (Note that she is well written and I'm not just hamming her up due to her gender. The male MC in We IS to blame for the outcome of the story.)

I think thats what Aquino's message in Mindwar was about.

I think it was too early for totalitarian regime when the book was written, also a prophecy.

In my reasoning, Indonesia probably, Australia no - would still be with Oceania, or maybe even Eurasia, for its Anglo stock + the close ties it maintains with the Anglosphere/Western world.

An old dystopian/sci-fi novel by somewhat obscurer Russian author Yevgeny Zamyatin, way earlier in the 20th century + according to some has the credit of being the first dystopian novel, and either inspiring or forecasting other more famous dystopian novels like 1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451…. Well regarded by many of the critics and scholars who have read it, though.
Israel-anon made a good book recommendation today. I’d recommend it if you’re into fiction.

In Code Geass the British and coalitions get defeated by Napoleon and conquered. The yellow state is some EU style federal union and China never resolved its warlord issue in the 1900s nor did Japan go through the Meiji reformations.
