When I go to a site where many users can post, I apply some sensible mental filters--here is a subset of them:If a post is/has any of the following, it is fictional and propaganda:- The opinion of a high-status person (celebrity, politician, richfag, pundit, influencer)- A screenshot of Twitter or another social media site- Images of human faces- An expert's opinion on something he's not an expert on- Audio- Obvious reply bait- Posted in a popular venue- Gets a lot of attention- Posted by someone who posts oftenWhat filters do you use?
Just because something is propaganda doesn't mean it isn't true.
>>526283736>How do YOU define propaganda, /pol/?Everything I disagree with is propaganda and everything I do agree with is called news.
>>526283736My filters list here is so long it spikes CPU usage and often I have to kill and restart the browser.
i don't filter anythinghttps://x.com/MrWhiplash_/status/2011572880048603186newfaggots
>>526283828Most propaganda is true, but selection bias is the right hand of propaganda. The choice to speak about one thing more-so than another thing, in a world of finite attention, is the meat of propaganda.
