Redwood City is pretty well positioned, but you'll probably need to drive to go anywhere. You're right across the bridge from Fremont and Hayward and the rest of the East Bay. You're just above San Jose and Santa Clara. Close to SFO and only about 30 minutes from San Francisco. Great weather (it was mid 60s and sunny today). You don't have BART on that side of the Bay, so it's basically only the bus and Caltrain for public transit.Overall, it's pretty chill in Redwood City and you can be in most other places in the bay in under an hour.
