The norm in Europe and the anglo Commonwealth is declining church attendance, declining birth rates, cohabitation replacing sacramental marriage, abortion, rampant homosexuality and growing support of euthanasia. There really is no moral conservatism in Australian mainstream politics. Rightwing governments here are really just greedy libertarian types who want to get the state out of their back pocket. They couldn't care less about the destruction of public morals. How come there remains a semblance of Christian reactionary politics in the US?
