I say we demand our genes back. We fine mutts for using our genes for last centuries. How much are white genes worth? Few thousand trillion at least.
Copyrighted and patented genes, sorry mutt. You can use african and asian all you like but not ours.

The financial services part is going to be a massive shock with a lot of short term economic pain, but I believe it will be worth it in the end
>>
I think the digital services tax act needs to be pulled forward

It won't, but it should

In France we already have an alternative to visa/mastercard, I don't see why we couldn't extend it to the whole union

It is self-defense at this point.

Many would still use American social media, as they do in Russia despite the ban
But yea we could fuck up Microsoft (Linux is better anyway) and google
>>
>>526306789
No need to ban it when you can make it from grassroot level socially despicable.
>>
>>526306867
How many times have such grassroot movements started and failed?

I just want a search engine that doesn't guess but actually searches what I asked for and gives me good tools to create the context myself because I know best what my context is, not some guessing bullshit that is or isn't AI driven but always wrong and can't fucking stay on topic and neither cares about my core search interest. I can't even define the type of information I'm looking for: Text, files (to download: patches / mods), images, audio, video. As if that'd be hard.

And don't forget "results" that are actually walled gardens, so you can't access the information without having created an account there or "results" that just lead to auto-generated "search results" pages that look totally different to you than to the crawler, often not even containing anything the "results list" of the search engine brought up. Such shit should be blacklisted unless specifically named in the search string by the user.

Sorry, I just had to ramble. This shit drives me up the walls.

There's a couple European alternatives. The digital Euro is supposed to be the Union-wide alternative.

>>526306789
Yeah that's great and all but maybe we should put a few billions into developing alternatives for the things that matter then (e.g. operating systems, search engines).

We have all the talent in the world yet we waste funding on rapefugees and retarded leftoid shit.

The digital euro comes with built in ways for the EU government to prevent access to your money or to check for things like carbon credit
So I'm strongly opposed to it

we actually do, just not enough. Also corpos are lazy and go the path of least resistance, hence so much microslop for example. German state governments recently started transitioning to Linux, it's not like microslop is millennia ahead and you need it lmao.

If an European startup succeeds, it's often bought by Americans and killed or moved overseas
